It might seem minor but I had to scan for TV channels myself as there didn’t seem to be any available much to my amazement I did manage to find a handful be it they weren’t your standard channels. No WiFi available. En-suite was incredibly small and a tad bit smelly - toilet seat lid wasn’t attached to the toilet. Although I have to say en-suite was clean and plenty of towels and soap were provided. There was some kind of building work going on and the upgrade meant we stayed right next to the fire exit which was being used as the way in and out for the builders. In fairness they were considerate and didn’t make too much noise but it wasn’t ideal especially as the door remained on the latch into the early evening.

The location of the hotel was excellent just a short 10 minute stroll to Victoria Tube station, restaurants, shops and the Apollo Theatre. When we arrived we were offered a free upgrade which was a pleasant surprise and meant we had a double bed each. Beds were clean and comfy and we slept well. Minimal noise outside during the night/morning. Tea and coffee facilities in room.

The room could do with an update on maintenance as the bathroom light was broken so there was a plug-in lamp provided instead, and I couldn't get the TV to work. Neither of which overly impacted my stay. the room was a little small, but as I was staying on my own, this wasn't a real issue. The walls were quite thin and you could definitely hear people in the adjacent rooms, but for the price I paid it was well worth it.

for the price, the room was everything I could have wanted. Location was perfect, easy to find and approx. 5-10 min walk from Victoria station. Room and bathroom had everything I needed for a 1 night stay.

There was MOLD EVERYWHERE! And a lot of dust! The bed was clean and also the towels.

The location was perfect, with restaurants, supermarket and Victoria Station near! The staff was kind and helpful. There was a boiler and some free coffee and tea!

The cleanliness of the room could have been better. The bathroom smelt as if it had not been cleaned for a long time, rooms were not made up and there was mould on the walls of the sleeping area. Although it calls itself a hotel, there were no hotel features and was more of a boarding room. Staff were friendly though.

They don't have a lift or elevator. We have to bring luggage on 3rd floor this is very inconvenience.

bathroom and corridors could have been cleaner, needs some tlc-towel radiator was hanging off the wall, toilet seat was loose and shower tray was filling up so washing in old water. mattress was also uncomfortable and doors were so noisy other people woke me up

Extremely small room, twin beds not double and bathroom across the hall not en suite. The rooms not serviced during our stay. Lights in both the bedroom and bathroom not working. Room needed a good clean , skirting hadn't been cleaned in a while. Beds not cleaned underneath. No breakfast. Had requested a ground floor room by telephone and was told that would be sorted, but on arrival we were given a room on the 2nd floor. As we have mobility problems we were eventually given a room on the 1st floor as we were very tired when we booked in and were desperate to relax.

Situated very near Victoria Station with easy access to the tube and Buckingham Palace Road. Restaurants and bars within walking distance.
