As it’s right next to the train line it’s a bit loud but I suppose that’s to be expected with the location but other late night noises from the street made it a little difficult to sleep. The room was basic with no frills and a few bits and bobs needing some repairs and attention.

Light switches by the bed didn’t work. Had to get out of bed to turn off lights and couldn’t have only bedside lights on, it was all or nothing. The windowsill was extremely dusty, presume the meticulous housekeepers don’t think about cleaning the windowsill.

Reception staff were not particularly welcoming during check in, & during check out, cleaning staff filled the lift with equipment, even as people were checking out & needed to use it. The path outside the hotel (off the main pavement) is uneven cobblestone & a nightmare for anyone with a suitcase. Despite the good rating, I don't think I'll stay there again.

On arrival, we had a double rather than a twin room. Julia was brilliant at helping to resolve the issue, and it all worked out well. she went above and beyond in order to help us. The location is great, right next door to the Sheperd's bush market tube

There was no view on the windows, they were very small which turned the room a bit dark. There’s a TV in the room, but it’s not a smart TV (can’t connect Netflix).

Good location, right next to Shepherds Bush Market underground station and close to Shepherds Bush station and Westfield. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The reception is available 24/7 and has a bar. The room is equipped with locker, kettle, iron, hair dryer, towels, TV, AC (very easy to use), fridge, coffee, milk, tea, sugar and biscuits, plus it has blackout curtains. The bed is really comfortable and the shower is amazing. Everything was well cleaned. The staff is really nice, warm and helpful which turned the stay even better!

Be careful, it is written in the description that refreshments were included. I asked for some water included in the refreshments. But during the check out I was charged for these bottles. Not very fair from the hotel management. Otherwise, the shower was a bit small and also quite old, water is leaking on the bathroom floor.

The hotel is just next to the underground station. The room was as described, and clean. A small empty fridge is at disposal in the room. The bed was comfortable.

There was a bad smell of mold in the room which seemed to be mostly coming from the bathroom. You could see that the mold was wiped off the walls but it was still visible in places. The room was located in the basement so there were no windows apart from one which opened out to an alley and no natural light. I don't think people should be put in this room until the ventilation issue is sorted, it also would be beneficial to mention that the room does not have windows as some people might find it very claustrophobic.

The staff were friendly. The price was very good. There were 3 beds in the room which worked out well for us as we were 3 friends travelling together and did not have to share a bed.

It was slightly noisy as we had to have windows open as the air conditioning wasn’t really working as it said it needed the filter changing (which we found out was being done the day we left, but nothing was said when we checked in!).

The fact our room window was completely covered by faux plants blocking any natural light, may have been to block a view but whilst window was open we could clearly hear conversation of people that felt like they were right outside of our window.

Bed/pillows too soft for my liking

Location was excellent, opposite Shepherds Bush Market, <5mins from Shepherds Bush over-/underground and Westfield shopping mall. Good choice of restaurants close by plus cinema. Small hotel but well appointed. Free WiFi. Fully stocked bar with good choice of drinks. Very clean. Staff super friendly and helpful - on their advice downloaded Citymapper app which was really helpful in understanding how to move around.

Some of the fittings in the bathroom are rusted, giving things a rather dated look even though they were obviously clean. There were at times odd smells which may have been coming through the windows. The showers are quite tiny with a tight door.

The staff were amazing. They went out of their way to help and be friendly. The location is literally right next to Shepherd's Bush Market tube station which makes it very easy to get around. Heaps of eateries and shops close by, including a 24-hour-shop right next door.
