We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

We were only there for one night, but we still felt like honoured guests, such was the warmth and authenticity of Dave and Lois' hospitality. They have evidently put so much thought into how to run a B&B well, as though they have taken the best of all the places they've ever stayed themselves and used those ideas at Shaftoe's.

Our room was very comfortable and well equipped, tea and coffee facility etc, ensuite was spacious and toiletries were supplied also. Great choice for breakfast menu which was absolutely delicious. Great location for visiting historic Northumberland, and close to Newcastle if you prefer shopping.

Incredible welcome and friendly, attentive service. Haydon Bridge village is so beautiful - this B&B sits next to the river with easy access to several pubs/eating places within walking distance. Very comfortable bedrooms with thoughtful amenities (only equalled in our London accommodation), sparkling clean, great showers, personal touches abound throughout the property. We loved it and hope to return.

Immaculately clean bedroom with very large shower/bathrom. Breakfast cooked to perfection or choice of cereal or fresh fruit salad if you'd prefer. Very conveniently located for exploring Hadrian's Wall and museums. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
