We were attending a friends wedding who lives in Newnham and wanted somewhere close to stay. This b and b was perfect. Tony’s communication prior to our stay was brilliant and he was very accommodating in allowing us to check in early so the bride could come and get ready in the room. The room was very clean and tidy, a fabulous size with lovely homely touches and a beautiful view. Breakfast was lovely and very organised. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very welcomed. Thank you for being wonderful hosts.

There was nothing not to love!

Possibly the best B&B experience we have ever had. The boutique style is gorgeous, the attention to detail and the decor is stunning and it was so clean! The hosts are so welcoming! The bed unbelievably comfy and we had everything we needed and more. The hosts were helpful with recommendations. Our breakfast was delicious and there were lots of homely little touches like homemade preserves! I would recommend this stay, infact i already have to friends! Thank you Tony & Alex! We had a lovely stay and wished we had more time to make it longer.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, e.g. helping with bags. Room exceptionally clean, appreciative touches like fresh milk in flask, local tea and coffee. Food excellent with local produce used. Comfortable and stylish furnishings.

Clean and big bedroom room with ample bathroom. Water is hot on demand, comfy bed, homely atmosphere, very helpful and friendly owner. No damp or mould and good value for money. Choose your breakfast (1st and 2nd courses) and it will be ready the next morning on time. Worth the drive to the lovely town of Newnham for this B&B.

There wasn't anything not too like at Severnside press.

The breakfast was really good and a lot too chose from, and it was very easy to fill in the breakfast request on line. The location is ideal for so many places to visit.

Exceeded expectations, bed was one of comfiest we’ve ever slept in and would seem the hosts thought of every little detail, right down to blackout blinds, smell of the room and a giant pot of coffee and cake upon arrival.

Everything! Traditional with original features yet modern twist. Stunning. Owners Tony and Alex made us extremely welcome & inviting from start to finish. Welcome cake and coffee on arrival. Most comfortable bed and pillows ever! Took our dog and he settled and was made to feel Welcome too! Thank you for a great stay. Breakfast was fantastic and all amenities catered for. Outstanding

Tony gave such a warm welcome with tea and delicious cake. The location is perfect: Newnham is a beautiful little village, right beside the river and so close to a multitude of forest walks. The room was elegant, soothing and tasteful, and I think the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in. Breakfast was scrumptious and we felt so welcome throughout our stay. Will be recommending to everyone and will definitely be back!

There wasn't anything we didn't like, maybe the coffee could have been a bit stronger but we are hard core coffee drinkers.

We felt very welcomed and looked after. Everything was so beautifully presented down to the napkins for breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the room was warm and cosy.

As mentioned in other reviews, the parking situation isn't ideal but we managed to find a spot nearby.

The facilities and service were of a very high standard. The owner helped us with our luggage and provided welcome drinks and cake upon arrival. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here and would like to come back again.

Lovely welcome with tea and homemade cake on check-in. Really comfortable room - atractively decorated. Excellent breakfast. Lots of helpful information on the local area - things to do, places to visit and recommendations for places to eat.

We were really well looked after during our stay. The room was lovely, with a soft and comfortable bed. We loved the tea and cake on arrival and the cosy wood burner. We couldn’t fault your lovely B&B and the warm service we received. We hope to stay again soon.

Our room was lovely - super comfy bedding and a powerful shower. A quirky and lovingly restored little find, with quality fixtures and nice little touches. Would definitely stay again.
