Every detail in this apartment had been thought through. The decor was classy and elegant, together with the subtle lighting. The large bed was very comfortable and the level of heating was just right. I was staying in the Winter. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything one would need for a long stay.

High standard to which the apartment had been renovated. Coffee machine, toiletries, good standard linens. Well planned lighting, large bathroom with walk in shower. Heating was on and room warm when we arrived. Host was attentive and helpful.

The bed was very hard. But he explained it was because it was a brand new bed as of that week. While we stayed over the New Year the Local pub The Castle stayed open till 2am so it was quite noisy when we were trying to sleep. But once we had gone to The Castle, we really didn't mind because it's a lovely pub and has become a favourite.

This is an amazing apartment. Great size, with everything you would need. Well looked after and cared for, and within the perfect location. The centre has plenty of shops to roam around, you are down the road from the train station so you can venture out easily and parking (although needing to pay each day) was easy once I learnt I could do it online. Being close to the church and hearing it chime made this stay for me. It felt very homely and I would love to stay here again.

Everything was absolutely superb! Our only complaint, which I feel is worth noting, is that we were woken on the morning we were leaving by someone in the apartment below shouting and swearing at another person for around 20 minutes. We assumed it might be workmen, however although we were leaving that day it would still be nice to be considerate of possible guests above and it wasn't pleasant to hear.

Fabulous, homely apartment in an excellent location. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed; we had a brilliant stay. There is parking close by in addition to the train station. Our host was great, communication was really good and whilst we were left to our own devices he messaged to check in on us. Much appreciated- thank you! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area 😊

Location was excellent and central. Very close to train station. Apartment extremely spacious and clean with all the facilities you could wish for. Heating was good and came on when needed. Huge wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Shower was large and lovely warm water. Host very communicative and attentive. Nothing too much trouble.

absolutely nothing

the property was everything we could have wanted plus more . it was warm and cosy but still spacious . The kitchen was excellent and everything we needed . the bathroom was huge and the hot water was always on . the shower was big and had great water pressure . a king size bed and a second TV in a spacious bedroom . easy access to the flat and close to amenities . Howard was a fabulous host and made sure we were comfortable . we would stay there again .

If ‘central location’ terrifies you, then the bar across the road can get busy of a weekend or bank holiday evening. But the noise does stop soon after closing time. If not being able to see your car outside the property is a dealbreaker, then ‘look away now.’ We know the town and found an unrestricted parking spot a few minutes walk away. We missed cooking with a lid for the frying pan and, oddly you might think for people on holiday; having access to a dustpan and brush. We’d welcome the ability to have a quick sweep to hand after preparing a meal/cutting bread.

If ‘central location’ is what ticks your box, this is a big tick place. You can literally walk to everywhere in town from the front door. You can see the train station from the window. As in; ‘don’t bother with ordering a taxi’. You get a lot of space and a big bed in a nicely-furnished room with a lovely view above the cobbles, across the town to the hills beyond. It had more white goods in the kitchen than we have at home. And the bathroom was huge.

It was all good

Lovely apartment in the centre of town. Spacious and very well equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Parking is available about 50m away in the public carpark. The location would also be perfect for anyone arriving by train. Would definitely stay again.

To be nit picky and it is nit picking a hand held shower instead of just a rain shower, as females unless you can stand on your head whilst taking a shower just does not suffice to clean where the sun does not shine:)

The apartment is just so well thought out nothing is left to want, has a very luxurious feel to the amazing kitchen, huge bathroom and a bedroom that feels something out of a Hollywood set. All the little thoughtful touches like bath robes , slippers a coffee machine, fabulous convenient lighting, most of all it is the kindness of the host who really cares this is what makes the difference, it is hard working from home week in week out feeling safe and looked after is such a breath of fresh air, thank you

Exceptionnel cleanliness throughout, with such lovely touches to welcome you. The bed was so comfortable and tasteful decoration throughout. This apartment is really an outstanding place to stay.
