Stairs were impossible with any slight leg problems and the lifts were very slow. However, it slowed you down, which was probably a good thing…..

The “sea view” room was just that. Stunning view. Most of the hotel was a bit tired but everything worked fine and it was very comfortable. The food, both breakfast and dinner in the Pan Asian restaurant, was brilliant and the staff were lovely everywhere

The bar was being refurbished so was not welcoming, but it should be good once the works are completed. The hotel restaurant served 'pan Asian' cuisine, but we were not so impressed with our meal, and it somehow did not go with the rest of the hotel.

The hotel was a real surprise and it exceeded our expectations. Our room had a balcony to a beautiful internal atrium. We loved the whole look & traditional feel this gave - all very traditional & very comfortable. Great breakfast. Very well placed in Douglas. Car park too. Helpful & friendly staff. Well located. Swimming pool.

the radiators were on full so the room was a bit like an oven but fine after we turned them off and the place could maybe do with a lick of paint in places but it wasn't shabby or off putting in any way.

the room was great with fantastic views and all amenities that we needed. the breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.

the bar downs stairs was having renovation , but still open dust was everywhere , yet serving food and limited seats, should have put offers on, there was none, also the menus in the rooms where not the same as in the bar also the car park far to small, yet tickets where sold for the week, yet some nights could not get on

Bit of an uneven floor in the room. Could have done with more car parking information re the underground carpark before arrival tbh, about the exact route, arrangements, and the fact we needed change for the machine in the car park (it wouldn't accept a card payment when we arrived).

It all went well. The reception staff were lovely. We didn't eat at the Sefton but it was handy for eateries. Very clean, and housekeeping were polite and pleasant.

The room smelled like old toilets and was quite dated. The appliances and decor looked and felt like they had not been updated since the 80s. The shower pressure was not great but did the job. The breakfast quality was quite low but it was what you would expect for the price

The staff were friendly and it was a good-sized room. The breakfast was a reasonable price and there was plenty of food. I really liked the indoor water garden. It was a relaxing space and would have been great if we stayed longer.

Steam room and jacuzzi in fitness centre not in operation; shower in bathroom not working. Both long term issues apparently.

Atrium room gave a good experience. Nice to sit on the balcony with a paper and a drink. Breakfast very good with lots of variety. Location convenient for most outside faciliities.

Dark as no outside windows. TV was old, no netflix etc, no usb for playing films. Pool was small and in need of moderisation

A bit of a maze. The shower was quite small.

The atrium room was lovely as it had a small balcony. The breakfast was good quality and with plenty of variety. Parking was good value. Good place to unwind after work. Close to good restaurants.

Room - The bathroom door dragged on the floor., very noisy, the iron didn’t work, paintwork needed refreshing.

Hotel - The layout was lovely, the balcony was good to sit out on

Just a small thing the shower was small

The staff were so friendly and came across as genuinely enjoying themselves. The room was well equipped.
