Bedrooms are a bit tired... Awkward to get in and out of the shower

We didn’t like being charged £4 a night to park and the bar being shut most of the time

The Packed lunch was very poor value for money. It included a yoghurt but nothing to eat it with!!! For a 4 star hotel it was nothing short of being disgraceful The Norman restaurant was cramped for space with a TV domionating the room The room didn't face the sea and was somewhat claustrophobic Limited space for parking and a charge of £4.00 per day

The staff were excellent and helpful The Bonzai Restaurant was excellent as was the Continental breakfast which has a porridge option which was lovely

Maybe room service should ask if you need more toilet paper and water but then again you only have to ask reception for that. The pillows were of the foam type and it became very hot so needed to use the fan provided.

Nice top flat room facing the sea, breakfast was fine, staff friendly and helpful. Could do with a restaurant for evening meals. Need instrutions to use be-day.

My room had two balconies but no furniture on one and it looked a bit neglected. The other was lovely.

Breakfast had wide choice and was good quality and the view from the breakfast room was excellent.

If you want to change towels and have your room changed/done everyday you need to inform the reception with due anticipation.

Some of the hotel looks quite tired and in need of renovation, including the bathroom in the room.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the interior balcony from the room into the atrium is a really great feature. Location right on the promenade/seafront which was lovely to be so close to for an early morning walk.

Did not like the fairground, fortunately it departed after one day! Very close and such loud music.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with a balcony over the atrium which was very pleasant. I had continental breakfast which was excellent and ideal for cycling (porridge, fruit etc) We cycled from the ferry along the promenade to the Sefton and set off from and returned to the Sefton as our base for the Coast to Coast bike fundraiser for the Leeds Children's Heart Surgery Fund charity. The pool was warm and inviting and the Gym well stocked.

Window over the atrium door was broken so noise wasn't ideal. Water features switched off at night so left listening to a generator, no idea who thinks that's intelligent. No spare pillows provided. Room food menu akin to a cafe, not a 4 star hotel.

Spacious room with a sofa, 3 tables, 4 chairs, bath and separate shower. Hot chocolate and chilled bottled water provided and a multitude of towels. Atrium was a good replacement for the inevitable rainy day.
