Bathroom needs a decent clean, and modernising a little, shower screen is awful and quite dirty with mould, unpleasant to look at when having a bath. Not sure why there is no fridge or microwave in the room as there is huge amount of space to have them, would be a massive bonus and I would have stayed longer, sadly I won’t come back due to this. Needs a light outside on entrance steps at night.

Lovely guest house which was easy to access, really large room with nice bed, and seating area with table and chairs. Heaps of storage. Warm and cosy room. Host was lovely and welcoming and really helpful. Location for me was perfect, 5 minute walk to the ocean.

Bathroom was a bit cramped, but it was okay and served my needs

No breakfast provision at the hotel so booking was room only which was fine. It was very clean and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Dusting and window did need some extra cleaning which i did myself and got on wiht enjoying my stay. wifi could be weak at times, althogh the host boosted it. i did not connect to wifi in the end i streamed from my phone.

Room size, and location were great. Carol, the host, was very acomodating and helpful. Room was bright and big, very comfortable bed. Altogether a very pleasant stay. Bedding, towels floors and all other important areas were clean. Good batroom although i found unpractical the sinks on top of surface, since it is difficult leaving around it tooth brush and other cleaning stuff.

Unfortunately, I don't believe we were initially given the correct room. We had booked a large double, but the room we were shown was far from large. Also, the shower room/toilet was extremely small and had no mirror. The hand basin was sited in the actual bedroom. We asked for a room change and the staff responded quickly to this and told us to go to a larger room with a larger, more suitable shower room. Seafield House would greatly benefit from a renovation,,although the common areas (staircase, entrance hall,,etc) still retain some lovely original features. The basement room we stayed in, did smell damp and needed redecoration, including the shower room. The door to the shower room couldn't be completely closed.

Seafield House is ideally located a few minutes walk from the sea front. It's very close to surrounding cafés and restaurants. The staff are friendly. The basement room we stayed in was large and had a nice bay window facing the front.

Parts smell musty. Fittings are falling off the wall e.g. in bathroom and ceiling light. Couldn’t open the he windows as cats came in.

The location is excellent. When the owner (?) was there, she was friendly and helpful but was eager to get home Rooms are large , bright and quiet.
