Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe apartment looks amazing in the photos, but is even better in reality! We were away as a family (grown up kids) so we loved the main living area. The bar got plenty of use as did the Spotify through the sound system. The decor and attention to detail throughout is second to none - lovely 20th century furniture pieces really bring the place to life. Being practical, the showers work a treat and the beds are all comfy. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The hosts are fantastic. Very generous and warm with friendly and detailed communications from the outset. We'd definitely stay here again!

United KingdomThe front door jammed a bit on the bottom so needed a big tug with both hands to open. Nothing else at all to complain about.
Great Art Deco themed apartment, amazing living space with bar, all in Art Deco style. Lots of authentic touches light the lights and tiles in the bathrooms. LOVE the kitchen! Really cool vibe and spotlessly clean, immaculate, and very well-equipped. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Nice touches like the Christmas tree and chocolates left in the bar fridge. Very clear instructions for facilities. Nice and quiet, couldn't hear the traffic even though it's on a main road, as it's a basement apartment. Very private. Comfy beds with cosy bedding and really good pillows. Great location in the heart of Kemptown. We loved it! Big shame we had to leave early due to Covid but host was extremely kind and accommodating, and offered us a complimentary night at another time. We will definitely be taking him up on it!

Perfect Weekend Break! Just finishing a lovely weekend break here- We love Brighton but this is our first time staying in private apartment vs hotel. This apartment is fantastic! We loved the bar and cinema area, perfect area to socialise. Brilliant location, short walk to everything and so clean and comfortable inside. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you would need! We will only be staying here during future trips to this beautiful place - fab!
