We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United Kingdomlimited parking outside the property as which is free if you can get in, we did and did not move the car and used our bus passes to get out and about which was easy as buses frequent but also there is a parking meter 8-6pm just across the way .
Very central and beach opposite and bus stop to The Harbour close by , if able to, can walk to the theatre and train station within half a mile . Very friendly owner and accommodating, gave great tips of local area , which we greatly appreciated. Great choice of breakfast and fresh fruit salad daily … buses frequent and can get all over Eastbourne and beyond. Older type property , great value .

United KingdomThe entrance hall needs a make over as it doesn't give a good first impression. The girl serving at breakfast had dirty clothes on especially her top.
The room was very clean. Easy enough to park close with no restrictions which is very unusual. The breakfast was good with a great choice.

GermanyCheck in was not professional managed owner was not in the building needed to have a phone call to sort things even so we arrived reasonable at 6pm ish. The water pressure in the upper rooms showers is so low that it almost stops if you hold the handle up. Unacceptable

Location was great room looked over the sea. Breakfast was really good and staff friendly. Loved the small balcony off the bedroom.

United KingdomWhy would a ' full English ' breakfast have bacon and two sausages but a ' Vegetarian breakfast ' only have one vegetarian sausage, when all other items on the plates were the same?
Our room had three windows, one of which opened onto a balcony ( with two chairs and a table ) and all gave us sea views. The room also had a portable fan, a thoughtful touch, which must have been very useful in the recent heatwave. We arrived late in the evening but could enter through the street door and our key was waiting for us in our room, by prior arrangement by phone with Brian, the proprietor. Although small, the room was well furnished and clean. Location was good, near the beach and a short walk from the pier.

Could not fault breakfast or the staff, overall accommodation was looking very tired and worn, lounge had weeds growing inside. No shower as such , with no shower curtain and mixer taps very difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. Mattress was past it’s best and could feel the springs

We had a lovely quiet ensuite room at the back of the hotel, tastefully decorated and furnished and beautifully clean. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruit salad and perfectly cooked English breakfast. Our host Bryan was very friendly and welcoming.
