The location was perfect for our plans. The staff was excellent. It was great being able to come in late and have a drink from the bar and just relax. There is plenty of food options within walking distance for dinner and the hotel's breakfast was nice.

Friendliness of staff. We came as part of a joint birthday celebration and received lovely cards from the team in our room upon arrival. The girls in the spa treatments were really lovely also.

The shower was not good. Would constantly shut down to a trickle then back on. Every time. Parking was also an issue

Not a huge issue, but some work was taking place and did detract from the look and feel of a good hotel. No work was taking place, so no noise or dust, just visually not appealing

Staff were great, Hector and Emily especially were very engaging and friendly. Room was very comfortable. Spa staff were really nice and very professional.

The car park isn't big enough for all the guests, but you may get a place if you are lucky. We got a place one day, but the other day we had to park elsewhere. The room was outdated but had everything that we needed.

Location was excellent, right next to the centre. The spa facilities were great too, including the swimming pool. Breakfast was also good with vegeterian and vegan options. The room was spacious and had all we needed. The receptionists were friendly.

Very close to town centre. Staff were pleasant and helpful, especially in the restaurant. Very good breakfast, which was served to us, which makes a difference. Nice meal in the evening too. Also has a nice quiet garden area to sit and relax.

There were many spiders in the toilet and staff found it humerus which made me very unhappy. I found that very unprofessional!!

The pool, steam and spa pool were very good and clean and enjoyable. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. It was absolutely amazing!!

For around £170 a night, the room was pretty poor, very dated, and don't mind old-fashioned decor, but the rooms just looked tired. I understand it's an old building but not many plug points, especially near the bed. The bathroom looked in serious need of an upgrade as it was in disrepair. The shower screen didn't close properly, resulting in water constantly flooding the floor. Damage to the side of the path, visible raw plugs in the wall, a couple of stains on the tiles also. I realise it was restricted due to the size of the room, but the gym was lacking in some free weights. Once again I understand that it's an old building but the constant creaking of people walking along the corridors and the rooms above did disrupt sleep.

Lovely main entrance area. Breakfast was excellent. Pool looked lovely but we did not plan to go in it. Location was excellent, close to the centre of the town. Good parking facilities. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Location was superb and staff was friendly. Breakfest was good and there was lots of options available. The swimming pool was quite tiny and shallow, but very nice place to just hang out. Sauna was not sauna, but steam room, which was also okay.

Car Parking was difficult, apparently now owned privately, not sufficient spaces. Spaces too small for larger vehicles. Pool changing facilities small and need upgraded.
