The underfloor heating in the en-suite was on high the whole time and could not be turned down. The air conditioning in the room was patchy and inconsistent for the first two days of our stay until adjusted externally (turned on ?) by the maintenance team.

The breakfast in Charlie's restaurant was very good as was the dinner served in Charlie's in the evening.

No laundry. No 24 room service. Limited menue. No limousine service. Challenging in logistics, rare taxi activities near the hotel, and rail station is 30 mints away! You have to rent a car to enjoy the vacation. Otherwise the logistics will be always a concern. Breakstaf staff not used to tourists from middle east, some attitude is there. Easy the feel the attitude during the breakfast.

The property is in fantastic location, amazing feeling to live in an old castle vibes. The the area is full of site seeing, castles, family activities. Wow!! The staff, front desk is is amazing.

What an absolute gem. The breakfast is fantastic. The heated pool and spa area are amazing. The golf course is gorgeous. The benefit of being dog friendly is fantastic. Everything was perfect!

Our cottage room was a little public due to its location might have preferred something less public.

Very good breakfast - wide selection of food available with high standard of friendly service - excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed playing the golf course which was in fine condition. Overall the hotel had a warm welcoming feeling to it at all times - a great credit to the staff who worked there.

Adorable building, picturesque views. Surrounding with nature. Incredibly welcoming staff, would guide you in any way. Additional thank you for Philippe’s guidance, he talked about the history of the place, very interesting stories. SPA is nice, pool heated to 30 degrees, swimming in the rain was especially atmospheric! Thank you , would definitely come back in the future!

This was a bit above our normal (5 star rather than 3 or 4), but it was truly excellent and so good value for money The staff were superb and handled our bikes very well. The heated outdoor pool was a real highlight and used each day.

We felt the evening menus was restrictive and would like to see more variety in the main restaurant and more traditional pub snacks.

The setting of the property is wonderful and the views are lovely. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the entrance hall and the traditional aspects of the original building which seamlessly became more modern and fresher. The spa is beautiful - so calm and relaxing. The staff were exceptional with a balance of friendly and efficient.

Only thing I can think of and it’s not that big of a deal but a swim wear spin dryer or disposable bags for wet costumes would of been great this morning before check out as our wet costumes had to go into our luggage

The bar service was a little slow.

The hotel was spotless, the room was comfy and well decorated, the garden was lovely and the outdoor spa was amazing. It was definitely worth the money. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was perfect.

breakfast was quite crammed felt quite busy & feel there could of better variety amongst the food.

We liked the spacious bedroom , seating at the window in bedroom, the four poster bed , loved the spa facilities and especially the heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi.
