United KingdomIncredible hotel. It was clear that from the very top to the very bottom, everyone at this hotel seriously cares about giving the very vest customer experience possible. The whiskey room was such a classy touch for a hotel in Scotland. I've never seen it before and the girl there was an incredible whiskey host. Waitressing staff and management too were all amazing. Very very good, best hotel I've stayed in in a long time.

United KingdomThe original room we got given was dated and also has a smell to it and when we entered the room the windows had condensation. Also noticed the room was dusty and the kettle had dust in it too. Thankfully the member of staff moved us to a cottage and it was much better. I really appreciated this as I would have been upset otherwise so thank you

United KingdomThe only points I would raise were the vegetarian menu was limited with only 2 main meal items on the menu, this meant my wife had to repeat one meal as we had a 3 night stay. Also,the jacuzzi wasn’t working in the Spa.
From the moment we arrived we were treated very very well. We found the staff to be very friendly and professional. The facilities were excellent, the hotel was very clean and the food was fantastic. We used the Spa and it to was great.

Netherlandsif you are in a cottage 5 star than you do not have free access to the spa. this is not communicated either by the hotel or on the booking website. this is very misleading towards the customer. from the booking website you get the idea that you booked your five star residence with spa with free access which is thus not true. a bit of a shame for such a nice place. they need to change this and adjust the price accordingly plus be clear on this point on the website. staff knew about this and we were told that they will change. staff was also rude to explain thus to us. what do you mean with will change? be clear and transparent now i would say. second point the food in the restaurant is completely overpriced. you eat there once and never get back - sorry to say that!

United KingdomThe pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Dinner was expensive and the food was more fine dining than expected, given they have a fine dining restaurant. It would have been good to have a cheaper steak option. There was no drying room or specific rod racks for fishing gear which was surprising given the amount of fishing close by!
Our room was light, clean and comfortable. Dinner was very good. The Spa was clean and smelt lovely rather than the usual chlorine! Pool was good for laps although could have been a bit bigger.
