The room a little dated curtains had holes in at bottom, There was a lot of noise next to me until around 12 midnight like the shower was going for hrs and like it was at the other side of wall to my bed.

The staff were amazing everyone of them, superb service and food amazing. Bed comfy and very clean.

The shower in the bathroom wasn’t great but the new owner told us she is aware of the need to upgrade the bathrooms. She appears very committed to customer satisfaction and we wish her every success with her new venture.

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel with such friendly staff and management as everyone at the Savoy Park. They were always super attentive and willing to chat. They loved our wee dog and spoilt her rotten!!

Beautiful hotel with great staff and very accommodating to our two dogs, would defo recommend to anyone with a dog as the lovely Ayr beach is just round the corner, one of the best dog friendly hotels we have stayed at.

The stairs! (Despite being beautifully crafted and polished) It was quite dark and gloomy- reminiscent of a Victorian hunting lodge. I guess part of the atmosphere and ambience but in a Scottish winter???

It is charming. Many historic features retained. Friendly attentive staff and very good food. Cosy and very clean. Parking great. Gardens lovely with old trees, lawns and beds. Near town centre and beach.

Well, the coffee could have been a little stronger.

The hotel was built in the late 1930s and the public spaces are full of character and decorated with shields, crossed swords, and so on. Nevertheless it does all the practical things well - comfortable bed, good food. Abd it is well-placed on the edge of the middle of town.

The mattress felt like it needed replacing. I heard from relatives that live locally that the hotel has been sold so I really hope they don't change anything if this is true.

    Nothing - couldn't fault it.

Lovely room with a window seat, bath and shower plus the hotel is dog friendly. Excellent friendly staff and food was lovely. Dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant which is understandable but we ate breakfast and dinner in the bar. Short walk from the back of the hotel to the lovely beach and close to the town centre.

The shower was very poor. I didn’t raise the issue as I was only there one night.

A place full of history. What one would expect of a typical Scottish hotel. Lots of tartan. Swords & shields mounted on the walls .

Christmas decorations were up and there were lights adorning the fireplaces which meant there was no open fire which we would have appreciated.

Lovely traditional Scottish hotel. Warm welcome and attentive staff. Food was excellent, room comfortable and characterful with lovely view of garden and coast.
