It says b&b but their was no breakfast, toilet a bit tiny.

The building is very old, toilet door doesn’t close properly. Vintage style wardrobe. Only one plug in socket in the whole double room. So couldn’t charge our gadgets properly in time. No lift service to bring heavy luggage in the second floor. No breakfast provided even though it’s a BnB.

The price is very reasonable for staying a couple of days. The staff are quite helpful even though reception is not very active as 2 persons to work everywhere.

Room was small. Was expecting 2 beds but only 1 double. Was sharing with my with my sister so not the best but we made it work.

I can see the owners are doing improvements,but Reception needs a massive re vamp. I stayed in the family room, bathroom needs a proper door on, no privacy with the glass see through sliding door, balcony is lovely, but separating between each room will give privacy and anyone in any of the balcony rooms can get into each others rooms, and the door is broken so can easily get into the bedroom, so felt a little unsafe. Heating was on full, didn't sleep all night due to how hot we were, my husband and son woke up and sat on the balcony in the middle of the night just to cool down. Although sign says warning hot water, it wasn't useable as it was scalding. No tables or anything to put anything on, kettles on floor, plug socket is other side of the room. Need a couple coat hooks, a set of drawers and bedside tables to put things like chargers or drinks on, had to use a chair off the balcony to put our drinks on. I know the staff are doing improvements, and these are only tips for them to improve the hotel, I will definitely visit again, if anything the view is to die for.

View is stunning,beds knew,comfortable,new carpets,only 1 pillow but staff brought more up. Very clean in bedroom and bathroom.

Bedding was stained , hotel was really dated , no fridge in room and was definitely overpriced for what it offered , no breakfast option , staff when seen were friendly enough, was a family room with 1 cup , sliding doors were really noisy when we had a small child with us , I was disappointed, if were had booked longer I would of moved to another hotel .

The property was in a great location and has great potential, they had some really nice attributes that just needed tweaking

The towels were still wet and only enough for 1person only one cup and no teaspoons

I liked the laid back feel of place and the bottled water and chocolates. The staff were friendly and not too pushy when we woke up late.

The reception area not the best really run down and out dated and we stayed in room 14 and got locked in the toilet for 20 minutes has if you shut door you can’t open it this needs too be looked at has I think maybe ongoing problem has a staff member opened straight away with a card

Room cleaning needs a bit of work & the en suite bathroom door was a thing of terror , really let the room down . But bed was solid . Shower hot . Hotel quite quiet . Perfect for needs.

Excellent access to seafront , overlooks the lido. Disabled access ramp & small lift that we didn't use . Helpful reception staff. Got what we paid for & more . Hotel room set up was a bit weird but great value for money .

Only 1 pillow each on bed had to ask for second pillow,

There wasn't any breakfast,location was close to amenities we had a leak on radiator,and partners clothes got wet carpet still wet when we left,could do with fan in room as very hot when weather was warm

Because I had read other reviews I knew what to expect. But perhaps notifying new guests that the hotel has recently been taken over and some parts may be run down would be a good idea, as I would of been shocked if I didn't know this.

Value for money, friendly staff. Clean room, bathroom nice and WiFi good. Better than expected! We would stay again!

We tried to turn the telly on and the plug didn't reach the socket and the ariel lead was on the other side of the room. But it was an ok stay for 1 night.
