To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomHad difficulty finding the hair dryer, somewhat hidden in the wardrobe linked to the ironing board! Room could do with a touch more space around the foot of the bed. Location-wise the hotel is a good 15 mins walk to the city centre proper, mostly uphill on the return.
Room was well equipped, comfortable bed. Reception staff efficient and helpful.

Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and had a beautiful city view. There is no air conditioning, but the fan provided and fresh air from the window were perfect for early June!

Location was about a 10/15 minute walk from centre. We had a twin room, which had 2 double beds, comfortable and clean. Lovely big bathroom with larger than normal shower. Tea/coffee and biscuits. Miscrowave also there to use.

United KingdomThe car park is tight and very messy with rubbish bins etc. daunting at night as it’s dark and isolated with no access to the hotel directly. Staff on reception can occasionally be offhand, was completely ignored at check out. The lifts take forever and are not big enough

United KingdomOnly criticism is that there was no hand wash and only one small bar of soap. The shower caddies for conditioner and hair wash were quite empty . However we got into our room early so maybe the shower caddies and hand-wash bar of soap might have needed to be replaced.
Welcoming staff ,exceptionally experienced and helpful. Nothing was a bother, always there if you require assistance. Our room had 2 x double beds which added to luxury. Room very well organised and a minimalist feel, however had everything you needed. Bathroom spacious large shower space and was spotless. Looked new . Thankyou for making our stay in room 910 exceptional.

The location is fantastic for night life. Only four blocks away are tons of bars, restaurants, and pubs.

Lovely buffet breakfast, loads of choice. Lovely restaurant area to eat in. I travelled with my daughter and shared a twin room. Both beds were doubles. The shower in the bathroom was fantastic.

United KingdomThe only tiny negative was that the bathroom door could not be propped open because it is a fire door. But that's minor in the grand scheme of things!
The hotel and the bedrooms themselves were very modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room size was fine, all hotel rooms in Glasgow are small, but the Sandman was by far the best Glasgow hotel we've stayed in. The location was also excellent for getting into the city centre. We were only there for one night, so we didn't eat or drink in the hotel. However, this will now be our go-to hotel for visiting Glasgow!

United KingdomThere wasn’t anything g really about property we didn’t like. Probably a big far from the shopping area, but that was probably my map reading to check where it was.
I liked the property as soon as we arrived, we were early but our room was ready. Which was great. Staff extremely helpful and cheery. Room was an upgrade to a studio. Which gave us plenty of room and facilities. It was very clean. Towels and bedding and mattress good quality. Breakfast in the morning was good quality. Buffet style help yourself but sufficient choice.

Staff didn’t seem ready to receive guests.. were huddled up at reception chatting and the person who received us, it looked like he wasn’t even logged into his desk. Poor signage - we were unsure where to go to find reception at first.
