Lifts a bit small for volume of visitors

Slightly disappointing breakfast. Had to ask for a decent coffee, and not enough fruit. Only 2 lifts for a hotel of that size is not enough, so there were long waits, and one broke down on my last day. A bit of noise from other room doors being closed. I would have preferred if key card was necessary to access the floors, either in the lift or a door to access lifts. Bedside lights inadequate, and other lighting not controllable from both sides, so much shuffling across the bed!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room very clean. Good soundproofing, although as with most hotels the doors are heavy and not easy to close quietly. Very, very comfortable bed!

You could hear water running from other people’s bathrooms - toilets flushing etc. we had dirty glasses just outside our room that were going mouldy.

There are some works in progress to get to the hotel and ot was not easy to reach the hotel..but we did it at last! :-)

There was no bedding for the sofa bed - we had to ask reception to send the housekeeping team with a sheet, duvet and pillows. It cost £15 per hour for late check out, which is a lot more than other hotels. There is a microwave but no cutlery or plates. Loud construction work outside, even on weekends

We were able to check into our room early, just after 12pm which was fantastic. The room was really large. The bed was super comfortable. The fridge was great. The shower was great - with lovely shower gel & shampoo provided

The shower in the room was leaking badly and the bedroom carpet was stained, but these were not major problems and the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

Great central location, surrounding area is currently being renovated but the hotel itself is lovely

Super central location. Glad there is separate parking very near by at Charing Cross, made everything so easy and convenient. Great breakfast ...friendly staff at reception, housekeeping and at Chop for breakfast

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Everything!!! Everything in this hotel went above and beyond our expectations, we would love to come again. Clean, calm, warm and cosy - perfect!

There were a lot of roadworks around the area which we weren't told about. Also, the car park entrance is on another street. We weren't informed of this either and ended up parking about 10 minutes away from the hotel. On arrival at 1.15pm, there was no room ready for us which was disappointing as this is a sizeable hotel and we were attending a black tie event and wanted to hang up our clothes. The restaurant wasn't open either ( opens after 3pm) so we had to go out to eat. A receptionist did call us around 2.20 to say a room was ready, but this left us in a rush.

The hotel is well situated, close to restaurants. Unfortunately road repairs in the area made it difficult to access. A walk to the center of the City was only 15 minutes.

Breakfast is not included. If you decide to buy, it’s cheaper if you pay the evening before instead of in the morning. I recommend you visit Singl-end Garnethill for breakfast instead, it’s amazing and only 8 min walk ( do reserve)

Reception area could be a bit more inviting. Building works around hotel not great although aware were going after booked. Did not appreciate that they would start so early in the morning, especially at the weekend.

Staff very helpful. Large bedroom with comfortable bed. Enjoyed breakfast and drinks in the evening at the bar.
