Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Thisnisnthe second time we have stayed here and yet again, it didn't disappoint. Excellent location and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The apartment was well equipped with everything needed. Hopefully we will be back again.

United KingdomMy sister and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at Saint Georges Keep with our 86 year old mum. We picked it because of the location and we were not disappointed. We were able to walk to the Royal Opera House and the shops. We used the Hop On / Hop Off bus over 2 days to get around York with our mum. The apartment was spotless, modern and had everything you needed. The communication was great as Lesley contacted us before and during our stay to check we didn't need anything. A great experience and would highly recommend.

Convenient location about 5 mins walk from city centre, even though it's on a main road there isn't too much disturbance. Check in was easy with a door code and the property has everything you could need - slippers, bathrobes, welcome snacks, tea& coffee and cooking utensils should you require.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Welcoming basket of goodies very much appreciated. Dressing gowns and Slippers provided for our stay. Would definitely recommend and return next time we travel to York.

we can’t praise Lesley and Jo highly enough such lovely ladies. we were in York for our son’s wedding and had my disabled 90 year old mum with us. they allowed us to check in early which made such a difference, we were also offered a late departure if needed. the apartment itself was immaculate and had everything you needed, in fact it had far more than we expected. the sun shone on the wedding day and I suspect they even organised that for us too!

The location of the property was very good, centrally located. The apartment was clean and well stocked with all the necessities and some extra food treats. The bathroom products were excellent and also included a step to allow better access to the shower which was over the bath.

This apartment was beautiful spotlessly clean, welcome gift basket ,water and milk in the fridge tea coffee, coffee machine , everything in the apartment you could want, we dropped our cases off when we arrived till the apartment was ready, received a text to tell us when it was ready. Also received a text in the week to ask if everything was ok and if we enjoyed our day, The apartment was in an excellent place for all attractions all in walking distance, we had a wonderful holiday thankyou to Lesley and Jo for a fabulous stay, already recommended to friends and family if your looking for somewhere to stay this is the place without doubt you won't be disappointed.
