Washing machine didn’t work and no response from owner when emailed. Walk in shower needs updating as mould on it and soap dish at sink not secure. Didn’t feel it was immaculately clean and may benefit from a deep clean ((eg washing machine drawer). Fridge makes a really high pitched noise constantly and found this quite annoying.

This is a beautiful lodge and whilst I do feel it needs some updating in certain areas, it wouldn’t prevent me booking again. Plenty of crockery etc and very happy with the air fryer as we use a lot. Tv was great with access to a lot of channels including sky movies. Rooms are very spacious and Elemis toiletries included is a nice touch. It’s very well located within the beautiful location of Duchally. Parking right outside.

Just minor issues like freshening door paint and perhaps due for a little update with shower tiling. Nothing that detracted from a great experience.

Clean and spacious. Beautifully kept surroundings with dog walk areas and bins and access to the pool and facilities. We were warm and comfortable.

The bed mattress needs replacing as you sank into the middle, there is a mattress topper but doesn’t help. Problems entering need to be looked at as we wasted so much time before a member of staff looked under the mat.

Location was good and we had an excellent meal in the hotel. The lodge is a lovely size and I think we would return.

Lodge was perfect for few days away with the kids. Plenty of space and good access to area outside for the kids to play outdoors. Hotel was child friendly with fab pool, games room and a bouncy slide outside. Restaurant and bar a bit on the pricier side but we expected that.

No instructions for heating would be useful on arrival. Instructions for TV/Sky--- we dont watch TV on holiday but it kept turning itself on? There was a message on email via Booking.com which I did not access until I reached the property and my technology ancient phone made it difficult to operate

I'm a bit disappointed that the gin distillery was closed although stated that it was open on Wednesdays . And the hot tub in the leisure centre was faulty and not working Would be difficult if you did not have a car. However, I was expecting this and would expect anyone would know that the car was required to visit this area.

A beautiful private location. Very clean and great facilities. Pool and sauna and steam room. All great. Bar food delicious and all in lovely grounds that are well cared for. Great location with lots to visit in the area.

When we arrived, the lodge was a bit cold on arrival but was great once we’d left the heating on.

These lodges were ideal for us. We had family over from America and suited our needs down to the ground.

Booked breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. Wide range of options and good service. The full Scottish cooked breakfast very good. Only a short walk from the lodge we booked.
