We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomLovely property, I stayed with my wife and 2 kids, we had plenty of space and its location is great. Parking is a 2 min walk right opposite Waitrose. It’s surrounded by restaurants and cafes so there’s plenty of options if we didn’t want to cook. Clean good size en-suite bathrooms, comfy beds and a cosy apartment which a great find for our bank holiday weekend away.

United KingdomNo parking available and had a little trouble with the WiFi and tv connection, but please don’t think this stopped us from really enjoying our stay. They are both very minor compared to the joy this place gives you. I’m definitely booking this apartment again, in-fact we are going to return because we enjoyed the apartment so much. The communication was very fast and helpful when ever we needed to know anything Thank you to Lindsay and her team

United KingdomA minor irritation. There is very nice Smart TV but with no antenna connection so no terrestrial channels. A brief guide for the guest/s would also be helpful.

United KingdomParking, but to be honest, the parking in Queensway car park was free on the weekend and was only a couple of minutes walk to the accommodation.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Our hosts provided ample information on how to get there and letting ourselves in. Communication was excellent. The beds are really comfy and although the building is a gazillion years old, it was very nicely decorated and very clean. We will definitely return.

United KingdomWasn’t an issue for us, but a note for others that those with mobility issues may find it hard to get around: the property is 600+ years old (which we loved!) but this does mean steep stairs, un-level floors and low beams.
Fab property full of character! Great central location and it had everything we needed for our stay. Having 2 bathrooms was a huge bonus for a small family, as was the full kitchen and sitting room with dining table.

United KingdomShowers were a little tricky and parking off site did not work the best for us (added expense and inconvenience... we sadly picked up a knock on our bumper at some point during our stay and it's hard to accept that it may not have happened if we not had to use open public parking overnight) Fine for a night or two maybe, but not for a longer stay. The mobile data signal generally was poor (of course not the hosts' fault) but this meant the WiFi (which was mobile) was also not especially good (but not a deal breaker - it is a nice touch to have WiFi at all!)
Clean and had everything we needed (kitchen carefully thought out and loads of extra of all we might have needed, like tea and coffee, dishwasher capsules and even breakfast cereal and condiments). Good space and comfortable; very nicely finished too. Wonderful character and a joy to be in. Appreciated the follow up by the hosts 24 hours into our stay. The perfect location for day trips into the surrounding countryside and exploring the town.

United KingdomIt’s not a big deal, but parking would have been nice. We parked our car in the Queensway Car Park about 4 mins walk away, and if you use the MiPermit app you can pay remotely on your phone, max cost £7.50 per day.
This property is delightful, very quaint and very nicely decorated. The beds are really comfortable, very well kitted out (bedding, towels etc). Lindsay was very easy to communicate with at all times which was really reassuring.

United KingdomNo parking was a challenge with a small child. No live TV - had to log into apps on smart TV. Remember to log out. Heat and pressure issues with showers but totally manageable.
Location on high street was excellent for shopping and restaurants. Surrounding area and neighbours were quiet at night. Beds and sofas were comfortable and apartment was clean. Well stocked with kitchen essentials and great large fridge.

Beautiful, well furnished, extremely clean, great host. I loved the old beams and the feeling of history while being furnished with a modern twist. On the high street and everything on the door stop, lots of little eating places and very quaint.
