I felt there could have been more treatments available on demand. I was sad that some of the treatments needed prior booking with a 3rd party. It meant that we missed out on some treatments we had really looked foreward to. The decor in the Tower dining room took away from the level of food they were serving, it was too casual and although meant to be modern was going out of style.

The architecture was just breathtaking. The rooftop spa was really good and had lots of interesting room options. The food was just lovely along with the range of wines and general drinks. Interesting options available for all dietary requirements and staff very open to the customers.

There was nothing not to like.

The whole experience was amazing! The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to assist us. The room was extremely comfortable and the whole ambience of the hotel was relaxing. The grounds were incredible, especially the church. The food was of a very high quality and my requirement for gluten free was not an issue. There was plenty of choice both in the evening and at breakfast. Although a bit expensive it’s definitely worth treating yourself and we would definitely go again.

A bit far out of Harrogate

About the best place I have ever stayed the place its self was lovely and the staff without exception were first rate. The kitchen garden is also worth a look.

The tables in the bar very dirty table bottoms full of dirt the bar metal work looks like it's never been cleaned bar front looks dirty if you sit at a table in front of the bar you will see wot l mean

We booked through booking.com and received a half board option where dinner was supplemented and breakfast was included. This was a nice touch which helped to balance out the price of the room. Not only is the hotel and its grounds very nice but the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. From the reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff and then the wedding events team that we bumped into the day after, everyone was on the same page and really helped to create a positive experience for us. We left with a real positive vibe and would definitely recommend.

The prices were quite high

Amazing food, had duck leg in a Yorkshire pudding with holondaise sauce and a fried duck egg on top - stunning! So clean, comfy beds and pillows, you even get a choice of pillow to have (pillow menu) I recommend you pay the upgrade and use the rooftop spa - so worth it. We had a rhasoul mud treatment that’s reasonably priced and so enjoyable!

Whilst the hotel, room and grounds were fantastic, a music facility would have been nice. Not everyone wants to watch T.V whilst in their room or listen to commercial radio. More information about what facilities you are able to use if there on a RO basis would be good, fortunately I have stayed a few times now but never considered this something that is conveyed clearly without having to ask.

The approach to the hotel makes you feel like you are breaking away form the world, whilst only being a few miles away from Harrogate. The hotel reception is very inviting and check in personal yet efficient. All parts of the hotel are beautifully curated, relaxing and the grounds inviting for a short stroll.
