Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomParking was not ideal. Also the room is very small and the one side table is just too big and too close to the bed. Cracked my head open rolling over in my sleep as the sharp corner is literally next to your pillow. Please put some guards or round up the corners!! Fortunately my last few brain cells survived but close call.

United KingdomParking is on street parking (albeit on designated part of foot paths) need to check for match days as you will need a permit, which I think the pub can provide. The Web site shows as opening at 2 pm, but when i got there I was told 4 pm but check-in is from 3 pm. The room I had was compact, which for a single night isn't too bad. All in all, not a bad place to stay for a night or two.
Wonderful staff, great pub atmosphere. There was no food on site, so for the evening meal, we popped next door to the local takeaway and for breakfast, there's a cafe called Hayley's Cafe (BN2 4PD) excellent service.

United KingdomThe only thing really was the parking and the rooms being cold on arrival.
Parking was horrendous, small amount of space in front of the pub but it was full when we arrived, street parking was really busy nearby too. The lady who booked us in was very friendly. I asked about food as the sign outside the pub advertised pub food however I was pointed to a nearby takeaway and told they didn't do food in the pub. The rooms were cold but radiators in there so did get it warmed up. The TV signal was bad but I wasnt too bothered by that, others may be. The bed was really hard for me but others may like that so thats one of those things you cant please everyone. One of our rooms had a little fridge but the other one didn't. The easily accessible bottled water was a nice touch in the entrance. I probably would stay there again if I needed to be in the area.

United KingdomThe location is exactly next to the pub, so we could hear music in the rooms till late. Were just 3 parking slots or you can park behind the 3 cars but if someone wants to get out you need to move the car or you get stuck there. Near, it’s a street were you can park for free between 9am-8pm.
The rooms were small but comfortable and we had everything we needed plus a little fridge,coffee,tea,water,shampoo.The rooms were clean (few spiders net on the wall) and the tv has netflix. 1 minute away it’s a kebab(absolutely delicious) and a little shop where you can buy food &drinks.

United KingdomThe carpet in the corridors leading to the room needs a good clean. There were minor nuisances. For instance, the duvet was too short, and I had to choose whether to have my feet or my shoulders covered. Also, the password for the wi-fi is not reported correctly in the informative sheet in the room.
The hotel is very close to where I work. The room was recently renovated, clean and well-equipped. The bathroom was quite modern and perfectly working. Staff were very friendly. A nice and comfortable stay after all. I will come back again if I can.

United KingdomBeing picky I would say staying directly above the pub meant it was a bit noisy BUT I expected this as I knew it was above the pub and in fairness it quietens down once the pub closes which isn’t that late either
I was visiting my daughter at uni and I was looking for something cheap and close to her accommodation which the Ruby is. The room was very clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable with modern bathroom facilities also.

United KingdomGateway entrance was tight squeezing between a recovery truck and 2 fridge freezers. Towels smelt damps n weird, not clean. Carpet was roughly DIY fitted and wasnt very clean. Nowhere to hang clothes
15 minute walk to festival we were attending, takeaway, cafe and shop (off license) within 20 steps. Fridge in room Elctric fan and heater Shower was pretty decent pressure and temperature.
