Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location of the apartment was excellent and Nicky was a fantastic host. She met us there and helped us with a parking space, which was brilliant. The apartment was spotless, the quality of furnishings and bedding were luxurious and all the little extras were exceptional. You wanted for nothing and with all the restaurants, the ferry to the Barbican and the wonderful atmosphere, it made for a perfect few days away.

United KingdomThere wasn't anything we didn't like. There were a couple of very small issues, but we're dealt with efficiently and professionally.
We like everything about this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern, and bright. We liked the towels, which were soft and bed sheets, were new and fresh. This is important to us. Years of renting this isn't always the case. Nicky met us, which was a nice touch. She made sure the apartment was ready for us because we arrived early and she kept in touch before arrival. We were greeted with a smile and a bottle of wine and plenty of tea and coffee. The Royal William Yard is in a fabulous location and ferries directly outside the main entrance, which saves a lot of driving around. There are a number of nice restaurants on the doorstep. All in all, we had a fabulous 6 days.

It was very clean comfortable and had the bonus of a little bistro set outside to enjoy a glass of wine, or a coffee in the morning . All the utensils needed if you need if you fancy cooking , Nicky s communication was excellent and kept us a perfect parking space for us when arrived , would definitely stay again .

United KingdomThe Fridge doesn't have any shleves on the door, which I think would be useful. It wasn't a problem, it just meant everything was on main shelves, and this means there is wasted storage space.
Self Catering so no Breakfast provided. Location was great, and there is a lift which is essential for my wife.

United KingdomWe bought a ticket for the parking online but then got a fine anyway… So we had to double-buy and bought a “physical” ticket as well. Obviously this isn’t any fault of the host, but maybe it’d be good to send out a warning in the mail on booking - as literally our fine says “no permit displayed” which is obviously impossible for the online ticket! Just a bit of stress on an otherwise wonderful stay.
The location and the apartment were amazing! We will definitely be checking if it is available the next time we travel down that way.

United KingdomNo bath plug....a small but important object! Do not unload your car in the large car park in front of the apartment because we got fined £25 by the roving car park attendant. Normal parking there costs £15 a day.
The apartment is very stylish and has plenty of room. The area is a fascinating place to stay and the conversion of the old buildings has been done very well, and there is a good selection of bars and restaurants.

AustraliaThe access process was non existent. On our confirmation it advises Check In Open from 1pm to 9pm that gives the impression that the property has a checkin reception. It doesn't and we were not informed of any key security access process prior to arrival. We arrived the apartment building had no reception and we couldn't access the area as we didn't have a key number , we tried the property contact number with no luck. We waited 45 minutes for a person to exit and only managed to get into the complex by squeezing through as they came out. We then got to our apartment which was locked as expected but quickly found the actual key to the door under the entry floor mat., phew, took the best part of an hour but we were in! When we got inside there was a card with the apartment complex key number to access, of course this wasn't good inside the apartment when we were outside BUT as I say when we got in, wow great accomadation
