I would suggest coming by car, or using the paths through the woods/parks.

A wonderful place to relax mentally and enjoy the beauty of nature! Very cozy, quiet place, away from the city and alone with nature. Parks and sights with beautiful views are close by (such as Rosslyn Chapel, Pentland Hills Regional Park etc.). Room/Hut is very clean, cozy, has all the necessary comfort things - a nice bed, sofa, TV, terrace, tea, dishes, separate bathroom, towels and a separate shared kitchen with refrigerator, microwave. When I saw the photos in the booking, I immediately booked, so everything looked so beautiful and I did not regret a bit, in reality the photos is exactly the same (even better). I would definitely come back here again and would definitely recommend this accommodation. Also very lovely hosts - thank you for your hard work and for your hospitality. I really appreciated it.

The fact there was now blinds on the toilets/ shower room , black out would be good as at night u can see other users on the toilet when lights on , so I didn’t feel comfortable showering in the evening

It was a super enjoyable stay! The room is so cozy, and the farm is so peaceful. So lovely to wake up with the sheep’s “mehh”. The barbecue is easy to use, glad that I don’t need to struggle with setting up the fire or buying the fuel. And it’s so nice of them to top up the coal for us after our first barbecue. The owner Michael is super nice and welcoming. We had some issues with our car, and he helped us to look into it, and made calls to mechanics he knew (who unfortunately is not available). We enjoyed everything!

We had amazing stay. Very clean, has everything you need for camping and location is great only 30 min away from Edinburgh. Host is lovely and very helpful! I would recommend it to anyone who loves glamping! We stayed at the tent which was super cozy!

The location was beautiful! Staff and facilities were excellent, would recommend to everyone staying here. My one word of advice would be to bring your own food as there isn't many shops about the area. 10/10

Nothing we loved it!

We stayed in the tent and my son loved it! There’s plenty of room inside along with a kettle, television and a bed that is very comfortable! The kitchen hut was very useful and the bathroom pods were a fantastic addition, well equipped and very clean. The views are fantastic and waking up on a working farm is lovely yet very quiet. We drove into Edinburgh which only took around 20 mins so this place is a very good base to do some exploring around that area. The host was lovely and very helpful, she made us aware of all the local amenities which was helpful. Thank you!

It was A very unique and tranquil place to stay waking up in the morning with the sound of sheep horses and birds, with h a nice coffee, comfortable, and had nice little touches.

Host was very friendly and showed my daughter the horses and dogs. It was very comfortable, but also felt like we were out in nature. We had individual showers and toilets, which was nice.

All of it was great and it was probably one of the best and most picturesque places we’ve ever stayed!

The morning views of coming out of the tent and seeing the horses along with the rolling hills made this stay extra special! Glamping at its finest, with comfortable beds and electricity. It was a clean and well maintained area, plus very quiet and peaceful. The included private bathroom was a bonus and having a small kitchen area with a fridge made it a lot easier for our meals. The location was great because it was very close to shopping and only a short drive to the train station to make a day out to Edinburgh. Friendly people who run the farm and made our welcome pleasant. I would definitely stay again when in Scotland!

Quiet and peaceful location with everything you need including private bathroom. Particularly liked the cleanliness and only 3 units which means it was always quiet and no queues to the kitchen! Owner very friendly and welcoming.

I know it's really petty, but the cups for tea and coffee need handles. Otherwise, everything else was beautiful and perfect

The glamping is set in the Scottish countryside just outside of Edinburgh. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. The shepherd huts are perfect for a few nights, super cosy, very clean, and come with their own private bathroom. The communal kitchen has everything you need, and the price is more than fair given you are only a 30 min drive from Edinburgh city centre.

less blowy!

Aided by the excellent if blowy weather, it was a wonderful site, very convenient for local walks and unbelievable views. I had trouble with a burst car tyre a few miles before arrival. The hosts could not help me enough to ensure that I got to my meetings at Roslin the next day and make a social appointment in Edinburgh. They also dealt with tow trucks while l I was busy. All in all exceptional generous service. Great thanks to Michael and his wife for an unforgettable stay!
