Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

UkraineMy partner and I liked everything. The room was very clean, with a very unusual and beautiful design. And the owner of the house turned out to be a very interesting and kind person. Unfortunately, on the night of my stay, I suffered an injury and the owner of the house kindly agreed to take me to the hospital at 12 at night. For which my partner and I are very grateful to him.

United KingdomLovely hotel just off a quiet street, easily accessible to transport routes, safe area. Upon entry the accommodation had a homely feel and a good vibe, I found the ambience of the the hotel to be quirky with intricate detail, it is obvious the proprietors are passionate about travel and the world. My room itself was lovely and cosy. I stayed in the Camden Room. Comfy double bed, gorgeous smelling towels, shower products were also complimentary along with tea and coffee. I stayed for one night as I was visiting the city for a gig, however I would choose to stay here again as I love Liverpool and I believe in supporting independents! I found the owners of the hotel to be affable, informative and helpful! Thanks for a great stay!

This place is a hidden Gem. Situated on Penny Lane in Liverpool. The Proprietor is Amazing and will do anything for you. Nothing is too much trouble. Need a lift anywhere? No problem. We were there for the Grand National, we had 2 rooms ( 2 x couples ) and we had a ball. We will stay again.

ItalyI'm not a big fan of shared bathroom but it was overall clean. Perhaps in need of a new sink tap as quite wonky. Didn't affect use though, just not ideal with small childre.
Spacious family room with available fridge and kettle for coffee/tea. We didn't use those as didn't have time but it was nice to have the possibility.
