Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomYou do need to read the instructions to find the house but they're clear and easy to follow as long as you look at them (as you may have guessed, I didn't read them at first - my bad!).
Easy check in. Good location, very quiet so a good night's sleep! Great transport links. Only needed one night when travelling for work so I didn't use the facilities but the room & bathroom were warm, comfortable and very clean - thank you!

United KingdomWe arrived late , it was dark and we were exhausted from our journey. The host provided instructions but to be honest we were too tired to read all the details. As the access is from the rear and the street lighting was poor , we had considerable difficulty finding the house .
We rented this room for an early flight from Gatwick the following day. Room was clean and relatively comfortable.

JamaicaI love the property's proximity to the bus stop (2 minutes walk) and around 15 minutes drive to LGW airport. You can get to all the surrounding towns from the bus station. The facility is neatly maintained, serene and it's a home away from home. The owner is cool, friendly and very helpful.

ItalyDidn't get much sleep as the mattresses were the most uncomfortable one we've ever had. The room is extremely basic, not even a bedside lamp. Cleaning not the best, bed sheets had holes for instance.
Isn't the worse place we'be been in, but definitely won't be going back. Relatively cheap accommodation near the airport.

United KingdomThe room wasn't cleaned, and I was offered it with old bed linens, as if the duvet cover, pillowcases, and bed sheet hadn't been changed. After complaining, a young lady came and changed everything. She was extremely helpful and friendly. They didn't even answer the phone. It's a bit tricky to find the property since it's a homestay, but somehow I managed to find it by myself. It's not worth the money. We didn't stay there because my family wasn't impressed with the facilities. I wouldn't recommend this place.
The only positive aspect of our experience was the prompt assistance from the young lady who kindly changed the linens. She was exceptionally helpful and friendly.
