They don't provide washcloths. Told me people bring their own, except this wasn't stated anywhere on their site. But, they did go to Boots to buy some which was very kind.They have an area where you can have a hot breakfast or a drink. However, the area is busy and occupied most of the day by students and other people who hangout and meet up for conversation Most of the seating area is taken up if you want to utilize the area. They do have a curtained off area for hotel guests but it is only a table and some chairs The workers did say the management were working on not having a crowd there all day.

Room very nice looked out on the park. Very clean. Loved the kitchenette, very hand Breakfast, cost extra, left outside your door. Was juice, milk, dry cereal, yogurt with delicious musleix on top, and a croissant, or chocolate croissants, or other pastry. Coffee or tea you made in your room. Dinnerware and cutlery for 4, pot and pan for stovetop,stove top, you need to eat in. You just have to buy food. Washer and dryer on site for your use. Pay with credit card. Great air conditioning in the room.

Sometimes the reception desk was unmanned and we had to walk about searching for people to help us buy things from the late night snack bar

The room was spacious, clean and had air con! Was a nice bar/cafe downstairs. Most staff were very helpful- the lady who checked us in especially!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and comfortable room in a great location with a nice kitchenette. Early check in and late check out was much appreciated! Close to the town center and right around the corner from Oxford street with great pubs and restaurants. Easy walk to the great Dancing Man Brewery!

Safe didn't work. Not much of an issue on this occasion as only stayed one night but would be a problem for a longer stay. Could use a smaller bedside light as could only have main lights on.

Our door keys stopped working an hour before check out at 2pm, so we were unable to get back into our room to collect our bags to check out. Was soon fixed by the lovely staff but meant an additional trip down to reception which was frustrating.

Lovely place. Excellent location for boarding our cruise ship. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. The cafe was a great place to chill with fab coffee and food. The cheese and spinach toastie was delicious. Our room was surprisingly spacious for 4 of us and had everything we needed, very comfortable. A short walk into the centre of town to all the shops and eating places. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to get a twin room, as requested. The staff were very helpful and provided an extra duvet though.

Location - close to the cruise port. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to check-in at the time we indicated that we would arrive. Appreciated the kitchenette and proximity to a grocery store. Cool vibe!

TV was on the blink a bit but really didn't stay awake long enough to care :) Staff were friendly enough to discuss issue and did their best based on the time so while it was a bit of a pain it was dealt with in a timely manor. Got it going in the end with a little bit of technical know how :)

Really nice staff, informative and explained how everything worked. Was surprised at the food options available especially for us vegos really nice snacks! Coffee was an added bonus and it looked like those that were having breaky were enjoying themselves. Nice and easy to get to, comfy bed, very large room with kitchenette. Kind of quirky but I like that. Full kudos to the team at Room2 Southampton.

View out the window a bit boring , but didn’t alter our view as will be returning again . No milk in our room on arrival , but asked at reception and she gave us fresh cravendale milk , was sorted quickly .
