We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWhilst there was a lot of parking, for which we were grateful, the parking area was on a slope & spaces were marked out diagonally; this made driving out quite difficult & stressful.
The Hotel was spotlessly clean & the hosts - Nicky & John were extremely helpful & caring. The pool and surrounding area were as good as, if not better than, any hotel on the continent. Facilities in the lounge/bar were great.

Hotel is exceptionally clean, our room appeared to have refurbished with some nice touches like a small sofa and a coffee machine. Pool was lovely and clean and welcoming bar with a good selection of drinks. Breakfast was efficient with an ordering system to select your meal and beautifully cooked with a great selection of fruit and pastries.staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Would definitely stay again. Good location short walk to promenade with some nice restaurants nearby

Perfect location to walk to downtown. Wonderful owners Nicky and John. Plus son is named Felix. He loves to hear your stories and has a hobby of Geography. We spent much time sharing his interesting passions. At the end of a day of travel, their bar area overlooking a lovely swimming pool is a great way to end the day.

From the minute we arrived until we left. We were made to feel so welcome. John , Nicki & all the staff were on hand the whole time. While we were staying we meet many guest who have come back many times. I can see why the hotel has a lovely decor is just perfect. The piped music played though out the day / night was perfect & added to the Atmospher either at the pool side or enjoying a drink in the bar conservatory area. Our room, Breakfast & daytime paid for lunch were all great.

United KingdomA lift (elevator) would be good! We had to walk up a lot of steps, and we're both getting on - though we were offered help with our luggage. As mentioned, bathroom small. The location is just 'okay'. the hotel is situated about 5-10 minutes walk from the seafront, but involves walking up a fair old hill every time one is returning at the end of a busy day. The only other thing, which is not so much a 'negative' as - let's say 'different', is the need to tick boxes on a form for breakfast items, rather than just telling the waiter/waitress what's required. But the system seemed to work just fine. Nothing to do with the hotel, but I should mention that, whilst Torquay is lovely all along the front, marina, beaches etc., the actual town 'behind' the beautiful parts is run down and need serious attention.
We have never stayed in such a CLEAN place. Everything gleams and is spotless. The room was large and comfortable and had everything we needed, though the bathroom was small. The lounge and bar area is lovely, as is the conservatory lounge overlooking the outdoor pool (also lovely). The staff couldn't do enough to help and we were very happy with our stay.
