It is a charming older guesthouse, beautifully decorated, with character. We had a good -sized room with a view of the river. The location is convenient for walking into the center of Inverness or just walking along the river. Eilidh, the owner was very helpful.

Was lucky to get a booking with Corbies Rest as it’s never available and there is a reason why. Elidh is warm and welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a pleasant and comfortable stay. Great facilities and very clean. Good location close to local sights and restaurants and walking distance to city.

We liked everything. We would love to stay again.

Absolutely fabulous place opposite a park and the river. Owners are very friendly and polite. They provided us with a guide for Inverness and their suggestions for lunch dinner breakfast in the area. Parking is also available near the place. Rooms are clean comfortable and decorated with good taste. Prefer a room with river view.

The television didn't work and we wanted to do a late check in and had a hard time connecting with the property for that.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the location was near a variety of restaurants.

I liked it all. Maybe more milk for tea and coffee if staying a few days -- although there's plenty of cafes down the road to choose from so it's more my own preference than a necessity :)

Our stay was too short!!

Eilidh is the most friendly, helpful host! We enjoyed her beautiful home as much as the extraordinary walks along the river right outside her front door. Corbies Rest is centrally located so you are never far from one of many fabulous restaurants. We tried six on Eilidh's list; all were delicious.

Early check in. I was concerned with a late flight, but the host stayed up for me so this didn’t end up being any problem for me specifically.

Quiet neighborhood. Very accommodating and helpful hosts for a first time foreign traveler. Good bathroom and twin bed. Thoughtful placement of the vanity next to outlet for the ladies to get ready. Lovely view out the window in the morning to enjoy the complementary tea in your room.

Great host, so lovely. Parking was in front of the guest house, which was very convenient. Great location, city center is only a 10 min. walk. The bathroom had great water pressure and was clean.

The family was sometimes quite noisy, in the afternoon (shouting from the stairs to each other to do something), when we were trying to rest. Loud work outside in the garden late in the evening. But no noise whatsoever during the night, we slept really well But

I can't think of anything!

Eilidh and Graeme were warm and welcoming and our room was charming and comfortable. Everything was clean and the room well furnished with every thought to guests' comfort. The house was adorable and so was Cookie if you are lucky enough to meet him. It was an easy distance from the train and shops but don't neglect a walk the other way along the river with many bridges and views. Also a hike to the top of the cemetery for the best views of the city.

Eilidh was a great host! Very friendly and helpful with recommendations etc. The location was great and parking was available in the street across. We got a permit sign for the duration of our stay.

We'd stay here again in an instant. Our room was lovely and Eilidh is so kind and helpful. Her recommendations were all spot on, and her interest in our enjoyment was big. (And the shower pressure and temperature were great!)
