We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe felt the room was too small for the large chunky furniture. The bed frame was huge. Not enough wardrobe space. No where to store a suitcase. TV was mounted on the wall at a 90 degree angle to the bed and could not pivoted.
Good central location within walking distance of everything. Room was very clean. Good to have air conditioning. Off street parking was a bonus, even though it was an extra cost.

United KingdomIt wasn't too much of a problem for us, but the main train line is 75-100m away and the trains run quite late and start early, so a light sleeper in the room we had facing onto the river might have a disturbed night.
Excellent location by the river, with an easy walk into the city centre. Extremely comfortable bed and room, with everything spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were welcoming and pleasant.

United KingdomThe room had to be vacated by 10am. Breakfast was cleared away by 9.30am. Would have liked more milk pots as only 5 were provided which was a bit unfair for 2 people.
Amazing location on the riverside and not too far from the town. Lovely big room with views over the river. Superb luxury bathroom with under floor heating and I would love to know what laundry products were used on the towels and sheets. They smelled gorgeous. Entry to the Inn is by code to unlock the front door so no staff around except for breakfast. The breakfast room was very clean with a choice of cereals yoghurts pastries and sausage scrambled eggs streaky bacon and tomatoes and fresh fruit salad.

United KingdomAbout the only thing that I would say would be that a grab rail on the wall in the shower would be nice. Those of us getting a bit wobbly on our legs might find it handy.
For the first time ever, we booked the room that featured in the publicity and all I can say is that it was superb. The room and bathroom were larger than usual and the view looking up the river was truly splendid. Within the room, the furnishing were lovely and in excellent condition and the bathroom had a range of good toiletries rather than the bulk buy type which are becoming more common. There were teas, coffees etc, biscuits and two bottles of water. The shower was powerful, hot water plentiful. Breakfast was basically continental but with grilled sausages, bacon, tomatoes and scrambled egg also available. Individual bowls of FRESH fruit salad, a couple of types of cereal and GF cornflakes, croissants, toast. Jam, marmalade, cheeses.

The room was clean and comfortable and the house itself is situated right on the river bank giving excellent views of the river. The breakfast was excellent with cooked food, croissants, toast and all the trimmings available. The only complaint is that the television control did not work the television but that wasn't really a problem as the television had controls located on the television itself. Unfortunately Ely itself didn't have much to offer as far as tourist attractions are concerned (apart from the Cathedral and Oliver Cromwell's House) but walks along the river were enjoyable. Eating places tended to be along the riverside but quite expensive. The town closed down at night leaving just a few restaurants and pubs where one could find food.
