Nothing not to like perfect

Very cosy and clean , has everything you need, comfortable and the hot tub was an added luxury especially after hiking all day , would definitely stay here again highly recommended

There was nothing negative about staying here. A microwave might has been nice but not an issue.

Lovely location, garden was pretty and very relaxing with bonus of the hot tub. Easy access to Penrith. Couple of pubs within walking distance for food.

Nothing it was lovely

It was a lovely little place very clean had everything you needed. All the things you would need to cook with although we ate out and didn't cook. We went for my partners 40th for a little time away and a break from the children the hot tub was lovely. If you go take a bus ride to pooley bridge it’s lovely 3 pubs little gift shops icecream everyone was so friendly around here and you can take your little doggies everywhere we did enjoy our stay. We didn’t see the owners but was provided with a number if we had any problems but we didn’t.

No instructions for things like the hot tub, oven etc. Worked it all out quite easily, but a little hand book would have been good

Bathroom could do with a toilet brush. On a hot summers day, it got very warm inside the Annex - could do with a fan!

Located at the heart of Penrith close to Tim Hortons (2mins drive) - excellent for Halal chicken burgers open until midnight! Also has Aldi, Sainsbury’s and plenty of other shops nearby. The Annex is fit for purpose. Although not particularly spacious, it has all the facilities one can need eg decent kitchenette including toaster, kettle, powerful hob, digital oven and well stocked pots and pans. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay - particularly after long days of hiking, it was a dream to come back to. Clean, powerful jets and beautiful lighting all of which created a lovely ambience. This was topped with a luscious garden by the lake, swings and garden furniture perfect for morning breakfast or an afternoon tea as the river flows by. Bed comfortable, bathroom decent and smart TV!

Could do with a bit more space for luggage, clothing but appreciate the room is slightly restricted. Would be helpful to know which electrical wall sockets were for which items.

Had to get away from the busy life and needed a chilled stay away, riverside annex was nothing but amazing. The location was close to general stores, great view of the lake, cleanliness was perfect and not to forget the hot tub. Everything was just perfect. The owners were only an email or call away for any issues and were nothing but helpful. A great 2 nights and 3 days away!! Will be recommending to everyone!

The annex was very good and fully equipped with everything you could need. There is plenty of shops around and a big supermarket close by. The hot tub went down a treat!

Amazing! I got this as a present for my partners birthday. Thank you to Christian and Jess for having us. The views with the hot tub were beautiful, couldnt ask for anything better for a relaxing break.

The water pressure in the bathroom wasn’t very good at all.

Loved that even though you’re in someone’s garden it doesn’t feel like it. Very scenic, lovely view, loved the sound of the river. Hot tub was lush!

there was no images as stated by the owners to use the hot tub so we had to get in it code which was very very disappointing as we went there specifically for the hot tub, after the stay we was getting emails and my friend got a phone call regarding towels then got threatened by the owners of them reporting it as theft we looked through our things and didn't have any towels belonging to the place and when going through our things noticed we had left one of our own grey towels there which the owners didn't mention in any message when they was asking about their own towels so we are a towel down and a bit upset about the constant emails regarding towels it put stress on us when we went away to distress so the break ended up making us feel different kind of stress so we have had to book a night somewhere else just to switch off before I'm back teaching on Monday I think the 4 messages regarding towels was a bit too much it's not like it was a TV or anything just a towel has been misplaced and they are threatening to report it as theft if we don't take it back not being funny but if we did have it misplaced in our luggage we wouldn't drive so far to drop a towel anyway its a bit weird
