We were in room 4 which was very compact. I’m only 5’3” but kept bagging my head on the roof slopes. Our biggest gripe were the towels. Although very clean and white they were also very rough. Could do with a few minutes in tumble drier to soften.

It is a little uphill walk back to the accomodation from the harbour area but we usually enjoyed an ice cream on the walk up. The only thing that would make the rooms better is a little bar fridge to chill our water bottles and allow us to keep proper milk for our teas.

We had a great stay at Rivendell, the bed was super comfortable, and we had a lovely bay window with 2 chairs overlooking the street which was an unexpected bonus. Breakfast is great, with several choices and really efficiently organised.

St Ives is built on a hillside so no surprise that the guesthouse is up a hill which, after a meal and a few drinks, wasn't a walk we looked forward to but taking it slow and steady it was fine and wouldn't put me off staying here again.

Great location, lovely freshly cooked breakfast, room was spotless, and Tracy was very helpful and friendly. Always wary of staycations as the weather is always a risk but we were extremely lucky with the weather and the timing of our visit as it was busy enough but not so much you couldn't get an outside seat in the bars or restaurants to enjoy the sunshine. Enjoyed our stay very much.

My friend and I really enjoyed staying at Rivendell. Tracy was a wonderful host, very welcoming and the room and house was beautifully decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable so we slept well and the morning breakfasts were top notch! The location was a short walk to the beaches, town and harbour. A great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Nothing, was perfect!

This little B&B was idyllic! Just what we wanted and needed for a few days away in the scenic St Ives! It was a fabulous location to the town centre and to the train station. The bedroom was very cute and sweet with the most lovely view over-looking the sea! With a wonderful soundtrack of the British seaside (plus the sweetness of the pitter-patter of seagull feet on the roof)! Tracy was so lovely, welcoming and helpful. And the breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for each day! We both had the Vegetarian full breakfasts both days and it was very delicious! Our train wasn't until 5pm the last day so Tracy even stored and looked after our bags for us that day after check-out. Thank you so much again for a lovely few days and we hope to be back in the future!

The place was brilliant, very accessible to the Harbour were the shops and restaurants are located (just less than 5 min walk). The room is squeaky clean, it is carpeted all over but you can never smell anything. The beddings and pillows are very comfortable (you can tell they aren't cheap ones). Shoutout to Tracy who prepares the breakfast, they are delicious! I highly recommend this palce.

It was a bit of a steep walk up to the guest house but that didn't reflect to our stay

Our host was very welcoming . Our room was beautiful, very clean and the bed was so comfortable we slept really well. The shower was perfect, set and right temperature and water pressure was ideal. Breakfast was delicious, a good choice of cooked and fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt. We had a great view from our room,and we're close by to the seafront.

There were no negatives that either of us can think of. Some may find the hill a bit tough but it's definitely worth it. Tracy, being the perfect host, even apologised for it! Not a negative for us, it meant we could have our lovely breakfast guilt free!

It was immaculate throughout, a very relaxed and calm place which was beautifully presented. Tracy was the perfect host, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. The sea view from our window made St Ives harbour look magical at night.

Everything was lovely.....only slight issue was some of the steep banks to walk up but we managed.
