We only received two bath towels… total. There were no hand towels, bath mats, wash cloths etc. at all. We went to the front desk and asked for some hand towels and they informed us they had a shortage and could only give us another bath towel. It worked but it was rather odd.

We originally just booked two double rooms, when we arrived, it looked like a large bus of tourists had filled the hotel, so when we received our keys to our room and opened the door, we were amazed! It was the honeymoon suite, and, it was fabulous!!!! Little did the staff know that it was our wedding anniversary. We have never enjoyed a better upgrade as much!!

The room was very hot and not very soudproof. People walking on the corridors, opening doors loudly and noise from the carpark.

Close to Edinburgh. Nice stop on the way to Scotland. Nice size room overlooking the car park. and bathroom with bath.. There is a bar and restaurant. .

The annex, where our room was, is badly planned - not enough light, incredibly creaky floors, dark furniture making it all a bit gloomy. Our TV didn’t work, we reported it twice but gave up, and there was a general air of disrepair. BUT it was cheap and the food and location easily made up for the negative bits.

Nice hotel with a motel-style annex in a great location for exploring Bo’ness, Falkirk and surrounding areas. The staff were lovely, the bar and restaurant were nicely decorated and the food was good.

The room although clean needs attention. Mattress too small for bed which was fixed with a plank of wood. They were 2 x 2ft6 instead of 3ft we think and were not same level, meaning join very noticeable. Decor is dark and dismal in a poorly lit room. Big thing was no fridge in room which spoilt the nice gift as it was warm.

Location and cost were excellent with a nice touch to add a bottle or Prosecco. Room was clean
