The welcome from James was really appreciated he explained everything about the property and showed us where lighting would be when we returned after an evening out. The chalet is compact and well equipped and the breakfast items supplied were plentiful and fresh. Julia also welcomed us and we felt very satisfied with the whole visit. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was beautifully decorated, really comfy. The added fridge in the room was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit and pastries.

Only gripe was the location was a little out the way but that can’t be helped, not exactly the hosts fault.

I loved this place, it was clean, well put together and extremely comfortable. The host was pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The room was nice. All in all an excellent stay.

The room and shower were on the small side. The car park was rather congested and on a steep slope, but still usable and very useful.

The Continental breakfast was very good. Very pleasant and friendly landlady. Everything clean, quiet, and location good.

Only that the main photo showed the back, garden side of the house. I'd assumed the picture showed the front elevation, so I drove past a couple of times before I found it. The front looks quite different. Maybe I should trust my satnav more?

Lovely bedrooms with a lot of attention to detail. Nice continental breakfast laid out for you to help yourself to in the morning.

We felt as we stayed for 4 nights our rubbish bins could have been emptied, but of course we could have requested this.

The location suited us very well. The owner was very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed being able to sit outside on the terrace. The bed was comfortable and the room and en-suite though quite small was well equipped. It would have been helpful to have a ‘reading’ lamp on both sides of the bed.

The parking was a little more challenging than usual, but worked out fine right outside the front door.

Breakfast was good, we helped ourselves to food and drink. Bed was comfortable. It was delightful to sit out in the garden.

Nothing to report - highly recommended for a stay in Romsey.

A friendly welcome from host Julia made us feel right at home. It was the hottest day of the year, & the first thing she did was offer us chilled glasses of water! She could not have been more helpful. Comfy bed, a pretty room (with a fantastic electric fan!), good shower. Lovely gardens with a quiet & shaded outdoor dining area. Everything spotlessly clean. A nice, if basic, continental breakfast. Great coffee.

Sink in en-suite too small/tight to fill kettle. Shelf in en-suite made using the tiny sink difficult for brushing teeth. No hot breakfast option.

The room was very clean and well equiped. The room has a TV, a mini fridge and a kettle, which came in very handy throughout my stay. The host was very friendly and helpful, who made an overall experience even better.

The only negative was being told it was a 10 minute walk to the centre of Romsey - it took us 25 minutes. OK we are not the fastest walkers

We enjoyed our stay overnight here. Very clean rooms and house, would recommend. The bed was really comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Host very accommodating and good conversation. The house is in very easy reach of Romsey, we hadn't been before and liked that. We also had a booked trip to Broadlands which was really good and would recommend a visit, though only open short times during the year.
