The room I booked did not match the photographs on the booking website and was very basic in addition to be being an accessible room which was not booked. I couldn't identify anything about the hotel that amounted to 4 stars as advertised and didn't feel the hotel offered anything in addition to a Premier Inn (no bar, no dinner facilities). The biggest issue by far was some sort of noisy delivery at 3/4am on the first night (unsure if this was the hotel or nearby) and the rooms proximity to the front door which was slammed shut constantly until late at night and from early in the morning, shaking my room door and everything else along the way

Location was good for my needs. Small selection of shops and restaurants close by. Pleasant staff and very clean

Parking a bit tight but not a problem.

Friendly staff on arrival, excellent full English breakfast . Great location with frequent buses into Oxford. Looked more like a B&B on arrival yet inside had the feel of a Hotel.

No facilities would have been nice to be able to have a drink in the garden after a long journey. Bathroom dated, stains on carpet in the bedroom. Just needed a freshness brought about the place.

Great location, spacious, clean, breakfast was lovely. Some of bedrooms in the property had been updated but unfortunately not ours. The location was brilliant, a short walk to shops and bars, a short bus journey straight into Oxford.

Being on the top floor meant that a lift would have been helpful, but we appreciate that this may not be possible to rectify.

It was a friendly and comfortable property, at a very good location to get into Oxford easily. The provided parking meant that we had no driving worries, and could catch the bus into town from almost outside the property. Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, and breakfast was good. We stayed in a triple room and the details had been well thought through, with three of everything provided, unlike in some hotels.

Unfortunately, the facilities were a little disappointing for what the B&B classes itself as 4 star accommodation. My room was ridiculously hot when I arrived (no air conditioning in the room, but a fan is provided) as the radiator was dialled up to its maximum. Though 2 water bottles were provided, I could not get cold water from the bathroom tap. The en-suite was a good size, but I’m afraid it hadn’t been cleaned properly… there were beard trimmings in and around the basin as well as pubic hair in the shower basin. Unacceptable. I did not complain as I only discovered this prior to check-out (and the receptionists were so lovely!). I would have also liked to have spent the evening in the hotel’s back garden, but I didn’t want to disturb the staff who were out there relaxing. As a smoker, during work hours I’m required to drive off-site for my break… I felt awkward and didn’t want to interrupt the staff so went to the front of the property where there is no seating. The breakfast buffet was ok but it was a struggle to find time/space between guests to access the toaster & hot buffet, despite having to tell the receptionist upon check-in my ETA for breakfast. The staff were very kind, but the facilities were disappointing.

Parking on-site and great welcome from the receptionist! Approx 2.5 mile walk into the city - which was just a bit too far on a typically British rainy day! Excellent public transport available a stones throw away.

For breakfast and for tea in the room, there were too many little plastic containers for any kind of sauce, honey & jams. They could easily have bigger jars and thus choose to be more environmentally friendly, rather than have so much plastic waste.

Great location. Had free parking. Good breakfast but come late & you can be out of luck, croissants will be all gone, an Italian guest wasn't very happy.

The room we were in was in the attic, purportedly a superior room. It was clean, bed was huge. But sloping dormer ceilings meant both my husband (6 feet tall) and myself (5 ft 6 ins) kept hitting our heads! The shower was in bath, under similar sloping ceiling. My husband had to crouch down to avoid concussion! Also, room became very hot in the warm spring weather. Only windows to open were one tiny aperture and a velux window in the en-suite. Not sufficient really for what it must be like in a hot summer. The fan supplied was slightly damaged, meaning that the facility to angle it no longer functioned properly.

On bus route direct to Oxford centre. Parking. Lovely light and fresh dining room for excellent buffet breakfast.

My only criticism is that they could do with another member of staff for the breakfast service as the poor receptionist was run ragged trying to do breakfast service and reception especially at a busy time. We didn’t mind waiting but there will be some people that would be in a rush etc. Also, a new toaster would be beneficial as the one they had when we stayed was incredibly slow and it caused a queue for toast.

This hotel was lovely. Small and independent with everything you could need for a short trip. The room was just what we needed, the bathroom was huge and provided enough space for 2 people. Everything was provided, there was a fan in the room as it got quite warm in there. Location of the hotel was great, too far to walk into the city centre for us (about half an hour) but there was a bus stop straight outside with great links. There is also great taxi services and the receptionist helped us by booking one for us. Breakfast was good for both mornings, enough options. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was a bit small and I would have liked an armchair or something comfortable to sit on but otherwise it was fine. It was clean and adequate. The breakfast was buffet style and well catered. Lovely sunny dining room and gave a companiable atmosphere to all of us who were staying there.

Maybe a mini-fridge in the bedroom?

The hotel is conveniently situated on the Banbury Road. It is clean, pleasant with a good breakfast but the best thing about the Remont is the staff that go out of their way to make you comfortable. We felt very welcome and we would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to pay the seasonally high prices of hotels in town.
