A minor complaint was the bed wasn't very comfy but I got used to it quickly enough. Also there's no lift so no great if you don't like stairs but other than that it was perfect.

Perfect location and great value for money. If you want to experience Brighton this is the place. Right on the seafront and next to a vast variety of shops and restaurants. The seafront view from my window was fantastic. Will definitely stay here again.

The tv wasn’t a smart tv and was quite crackly and old. The room key and the sound travelled inside the hallways when other people were around

My biggest pet peeve is that there are no plugs anywhere near the bed- infact there are only 2 plugs in the whole room, and these are next to the dressing table. The bathroom - whilst the toilet and sink were clean, the floor could do with more of a clean, and replacing (it looked worn and cheap). The shower takes some time to heat up, and it is a fixed head so you end up wetting your hair. The drain for the shower needs cleaning out- the water collects and the drain cover came off and jt was filthy underneath. You need to dust the bedside tables. There are no lifts and lots of stairs- the room was on the third floor.

The view from the room is lovely - you can see the sea. The room was a great size and had a dressing table and 2 chairs. The floor had a slope- it gave it some character, and the floor of the room was very clean. The lighting in the room was very good - natural light and 2 bedside lamps a main light and a lamp. There are 3 really good mirrors! The bed was comfortable and the pillows were too. The lighting was nice and bright in the bathroom. Easy checking in and checking out process.

This is not a hotel and shouldn't be described as one. The room was ok and the staff I met nice but that's it. No reception or any other facilities that you would expect in a hotel beyond bedrooms.

The interior was a bit old - the floor uneven and squeaking, the bathroom door didn’t shut properly. But those were not a big deal for me.

It’s a nice size for a solo traveler. I enjoyed staying in top floor - no neighbour upstairs. The view of the sea and the West Pier was fantastic.

It wasn't possible to speak to them on phone before holiday, the phone rings for a bit and then cuts off, which is the only reason I booked through booking.com rather than direct. Would have liked to speak about breakfast options.

I choose the hotel as it stated free parking in the listing. I expected this to be designated spaces however it was on-street parking spaces in an area that had a lot of hotels. Hence we didn't manage to get a space during our stay We weren't provided with check-,in information prior to arrival. There was nobody available to let us in the hotel when we arrived. We were outside ringing the bell for around 20 minutes until a guest who was on his way out opened the door. We tried 3 different phone numbers that were on signs and in our booking email but none were answered. Eventually a hotel resident made contact with the manager whom she stated was at another hotel. She showed us to our room which was up 6 flights of stairs. Not good for an arthritis sufferer.

I searched everywhere in the room but there was no code for the wifi. Because I'd come back after dinner fairly late there was no-one to ask. It really ought to be written somewhere in the room, unless I just missed it. It was only a minor inconvenience really.
