I booked this the night before and it was by far the cheapest room I could find anywhere. I arrived late and left early, but it ticked all my boxes. Comfortable, clean, peaceful, economical and easy access to the colleges for the following morning. (Just 6 minutes in the car). Free and easy car parking and a lovely setting.

Quick to want to take an extra £20 as we had a vehicle and a trailer. We were taking up an "extra space" and should pay this charge. Speaking with the Receptionist the following day we said that we had booked two rooms, we could have brought two vehicles, so the trailer taking up the "2nd" rooms space evened it out. The money was not taken for the extra space. The car park was very large, plenty of room available. This left a very bad taste and one we are not likely to forget.

Nothing serious. A few minor quibbles… Water pressure in bathroom sink is poor (shower is fine) and at least for anyone suffering any kind of vertigo or balance issue putting dark heavily patterned wallpaper behind the TV is a mistake. Rather a lot of emails sent out in the days ahead of visit, mostly saying the same thing but check in and directions not always entirely clear

Comfortable room in good location, near to Park & Ride (easily walkable if you want to leave your car) into Cambridge.

The room cleaning was a bit hit and miss. Some days the rooms were cleaned, others they were not. The lodging we reserved was listed as a suite, but it was simply two separate rooms joined by a corridor.

The location is good for visiting Cambridge, but there is a very big disparity between the superior rooms and the normal rooms.

No food available although nearest pub is lovely and a 6 minute drive

Self check in was okay although a bit hard to find the property and the reception in the dark. Kettle in room was okay but coffee room was overcharged

Noise from neighbouring rooms felt like they were in the same room, supposedly upgraded to a chalet with a kitchen but not allowed to use the fridge and cooker didn’t work.

7 emails from booking.com and rectory farm once booking had been made massively and unnecessarily over complicated things, no shower products, wasn’t aware when booking, didn’t bring any and couldn’t check in before 10.00pm when shops were shut, decor was tired, no personal interaction even though staff were in the office when i checked out

Lovely setting. Very close to M11 junction, but not very noisy and not noticeable in the room with the window closed. The room was equipped with tea and coffee, kettle an ironing board and a fan. The bed was very comfortable

Couldn’t access barn as had electronic log in & not fob key - so couldn’t access coffee machine & food area

Good location with great walking paths to city Centre & great park & ride or walk to bus stop. Room , pretty, clean & comfortable & warm . Stayed in house ..no lift .. so a staircase to rooms if you have heavy bags. Parking right out the front so great& nice views over paddock.. horses and a cheeky fox roamed through while we were looking out!

An amazing renovate elegant farm house. Nice location. Very clean place. We didn't meet any of their staff because its a self check in but everything is very well organize so we didn 't have any problem.

Walls are not built to prevent hearing other guests; albeit muffled voices. This does not bother me too much. It is simply a disadvantage of staying in an old building sometimes. It might bother other people; hence I thought it is important to note.

The room was exceptionally clean, there were no staff to talk to; therefore, I did not give a high rating. It was also very comfortable. Not a far walk from a park and ride.
