Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHaving to leave, we wished we booked longer!
Absolutely loved our weekend away this place is truly a hidden gem! A tranquil woodland with 2 lakes to explore and so many hidden statues to spot on your way around, and loads of places to stop and sit, the yurt was cozy and had plenty of blankets and pillows! It was a rainy weekend so didn't make the most of the outside space but listening to the rain inside the yurt with the wood burner on was beautiful! Perfect spot for stargazing ✨️ Fran was welcoming and willing to help us get some kindling and anything else we needed, We also met Diego the free roaming dog and one of the cats and had loads of cuddles! Thank you for sharing your home with us We can't wait to come back ✨️

United KingdomConditions were particularly wild, cold and windy unfortunately for my visit, which made it challenging to keep warm even with log burner on full! Lighting very dim within yurt and kitchen space - would be handy to have an additional lamp to be able to read / make food etc (the lights in shower and toilet worked great).
Beautiful peaceful setting, lovely self-contained area with campfire and outside seating area, lovely walks all round. Yurt very nicely set up and well provisioned.

Absolutely everything!! To be able to shut off from the modern world and relax along side nature was amazing. There is several nice walks around the site including the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful comfy yurt which was so cosy with the log burner on. And the bed was very comfy We made use of the bbq/fire pit to enjoy dinner and star gaze into the night The shower was clean and had hot water and the compost toilet was completely functional which was authentic to the surroundings. We made friends with the owners dog Diego who was so friendly and relaxed gentle giant and joined use for our nightly bbqs. We was provided with all cosmetics shampoo/conditioner and body wash which was eco friendly and smelt lovely. We will hopefully be returning to enjoy another perfect weekend getaway soon.

United KingdomThe only thing which let this stay down was the state of the cooking utensils provided. While there was everything you needed, many of the utensils were dirty, some, such as the spatulas actualy had a green mold on them. Having stayed in other Yurt locations I also missed having a covered floor, as this makes the Yurt feel really cosy. In this case there were just bare boards with gaps between them.
The location is amazing, a real woodland wonderland. The road to the location is quite a difficult single track road with some quite steep inclines which you should be aware of if you are a nervous driver. However the location is a remote woodland so the access route is to be expected. The site manager was very friendly and helpful. He came out in his car to guide us in as we were having difficulty finding the location. Our shower was not working when we arrived and unfortunatley it could not be fixed, however other facilities were provided a short minutes walk away. The Yurt was clean and cosy. We had ordered a fire wood package, and as the shower was not working we were not charged for the wood as compensation, which was a nice gesture.

United KingdomThe Welsh weather tried its best to disrupt things... but we stayed warm and dry in the yurt.
A beautiful oasis of calm - great for a few days away to chill. The yurt was super comfy and homely, hosts Fran and Nick couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The setting is stunning, the countryside around is great for walking. Within easy walking distance is a pub, a garage and a pottery - where you can learn to throw. We arrived on our bikes- so it was great having lots to do close by, whilst feeling totally secluded in the woods.

United KingdomThe location is amazing and the area is simply stunning, however the yurt was not up to the same standards we have experienced elsewhere. We were aware it was about staying in the woods which was a fabulous experience however the yurt had no floor insulation and was straight into decking which saw the cold come through the gaps in the decking so through the night was cold. The host had supplied extra bedding and the bed was comfortable but we did expect the floor to be insulated.

It was very peaceful and secluded, not overlooked at all. Myself and my husband were really surprised how well we got on without technology...we actually spoke to each other! I read a book by the lake, which was so beautiful, not another soul around. We even adapted to cooking, showering and toileting outside, the facilities were great so it wasn't too hard to adjust. The owners were really helpful, got whatever we needed. We can't wait to return.

United KingdomWhat could have been better? To be honest, the only way it could have been better for us, is if we stayed longer, honestly it was that good!
An amazing location and an experience like no other. The Yurt itself was comfortable and had all the essentials you need for your stay. We spent most of our evenings there next to the fire pit, enjoying the views and relaxing. I cannot stress enough how enjoyable the whole experience was.

United KingdomAll lovely and no complaints at all but we hit a very wet and windy weekend - all warm and dry in the yurt but it limited eating/sitting outside… HOWEVER, it meant the waterfalls at Devils Bridge were absolutely SPECTACULAR!!
Beautiful to stay amongst woodland/birds, sit beside small lakes to eat dinner, lots of space and privacy… Yurt had cosy woodburner and separate hot shower and compost loo… Kitchenette in porch was simple (cool box no fridge) but very well equipped with kitchen cutlery! Fran was friendly, helpful, relaxed… and very kind when I broke down on the access road out!!

What wasn’t to like? It was the most perfect place to unwind, restore and immerse yourself into nature. It was beautiful. We had the most relaxing stay, reading by the lake and relaxing by the fire.
