Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

had a gorgeous stay at ramside hotel this weekend for my mums bday gift I got a upgrade from booking.com as I book regularly on on the app so that was great, the weather was perfect we got a balcony room what was lovely. Spa was relaxing and very needed always recommend ramside to family and friends.

United KingdomMy special request was apparently ignored by someone on the Reception team. Why ask for special requests if they are to be ignored?
Room was good eventually. I requested a room on the second or third floor but was given a room on the ground floor when I arrived! This, I find irritating as the reply to the request I made was confirmed. However, after that was sorted out, all was well. I have been to this hotel over many, many years. However, it is now outside my price bracket especially when adding in the evening meal so I only use for special occasions now.

United KingdomThe breakfast for an additional £30 on top of room price was very poor, half of the ingredients were empty, ones that were available were swimming in grease. No cups to get drinks of juice, no bowls left for cereal/fruit, standing around asking staff as passing then no one returning with anything. Beans were cold. Over all price for room was over priced I'd say.
The amount spent in room was little, but the rooms were nice and the bed was comfy.

United KingdomInstant coffee in a room charged at £162 room only - I would expect a coffee machine.. The shower was the worst I've ever experienced as it lacked pressure, and the head would only sit in one position, which meant standing on plug and against Bath taps to ensure under the flow of water . Also, there was only one small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel between two guests, which was not enough for our stay. Our safe didn't work, and the engineer was unable to fix it. No fridge in room . The chargeable wine and nibbles as I feel these should either be free or not in the room .

United KingdomThe fusion restaurant wasn’t as good as the steak restaurant. Service was too quick and a lot of the food was unavailable especially the sushi which was disappointing. The lights were bad in the room and we thought we were getting a super king size bed but in fact it was just two singles pushed together! Not enough plug sockets Didn’t like how you couldn’t use all the space facilities and was limited to 1 hour slots.
Lovely big rooms and comfortable beds. The steak house was amazing. Staff were amazing especially Jean (French waiter) he took so much time explaining everything and really had great knowledge on the wine. The spa was amazing although didn’t like how you couldn’t use all the facilities and was limited to 1 hour slots. Staff were all very friendly and breakfast was very nice.

United KingdomFurnishings were dated and some showing signs of age and inadequate maintenance. Bathroom ventilation was indequate, dirty and falling out of the wall, which was reported to the front desk at checkout.
Generous sized room, updated bathroom and comfortable bed. Shower pressure and flow was fabulous. Available tea and snacks available in the room were welcome for the weary traveler after a nearly 6 hr drive. Conference facilities were well organised.
