Some noise from outside seating, where a group of people seemed to congregate during the day/evening.

Great location next to the Baltic and Sage/Glasshouse. Easy walk over the Millennium bridge to Newcastle quays. Bus 53/54 is direct from the central train station. Staff pleasant and helpful. Buffet style breakfast with lots of choice. Good value!

A little noise after midnight from the room above but not too bad. Surrounding streets look a bit down at heel.

Friendly helpful staff. Large bed. Fantastic price. Close to Quayside and Millennium bridge.

A bit of a wait at the bar for someone to serve me on both evenings. The hotel changes the barrier code every day but don't tell you when you check in. They write the number that is relevant at check in on a card but when I tried to leave after two nights the code didn't work. I have to reverse and park then go to reception for the new code.

Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of hot water for showering. The bar area is nice and welcoming and the 'specials' were good portions and good value for money. The bar staff were friendly.

As usual in all hotels, room too warm and can't open the window but a lot better than most. Otherwise spot on.

Perfect location, good price, was a massive bonus that the bar and food were both spot on. Definitely coming back next season (came for the rugby league at the GIS)

The floor tiles in our room were are bit of a state. I guess it had probably flooded from the shower room at some point. Quite a bit of noise from the floor above, but was just kids enjoying themselves and did not spoil the stay particularly. The daily parking fee of £10 seems a bit steep given the hotel has loads of parking space.

Good value hotel. Quite basic but everything worked ok, and very convenient for dropping in and out at anytime near to town centre.

There wasn't really anything we disliked just in general hotel rooms are getting more bare these days so a drying rack and some slippers would be nice but that seems to be the way hotels are moving these days.

I liked that despite loads of hotels and private complexes around the sight, it was really quiet all the time. We had a room with a nice view of the Tyne River. Room was bigger than expected, quite simply furnished. Like the fact it had a iron and desk, however would have a loved a clothes drying rack as the heater is not suitable for that.

Lack of aircon could make hotter nights uncomfortable although my fifth floor room was a comfortable temperature. Charging for car parking in the location is a bit cheeky.

Comfortable bed, good pillows, decent sized bathroom with good sized walk in shower. Room was very clean. Nice atmosphere in the bar when I ate in early evening. Not too much corridor noise( maybe helped by end room)
