The TV was off, due to construction issues.

The hotel is excellent. But significant construction work being done. As a result there was no TV or radio on the rooms. The staff are excellent really very good, especially the barman we spoke to on Sunday morning. He’s a total star. It’s a great place to stay had a wonderful time

The renovation works were very invasive and was noisy throughout our stay. We were told about the entrance being worked prior to our stay but not until we’d paid! Even then, the work was far more extensive with the roof being worked on directly above our room! The breakfast staff struggled to keep note of tables and a few, including us, had to go and find them to order rather than the previous day when they did table service.

Comfy beds and the staff were ok too. There were some nice touches in the room with bottled water available.

Construction going on so noisy during the day. We used their bar while we waited for our check in time. It was extremely noisy. Temporary issue for sure so we won’t hesitate to stay there again.

Close to central station (across from it) and easy access to hop on hop off bus. Room was very nice

Fantastic hotel experience. From arrival to departure the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was immaculate and incredibly comfortable. Proximity to Glasgow Central was a bonus, as was the facility to leave luggage after check out. Thank you

Some refurbishment is currently being carried out which has meant access to the hotel by a temporary door which was kept open. This meant that the ground floor; including the bar, was always cold. Also, a fault with the hotel's antenna over the whole of our 3 days stay meant that all rooms had no television coverage. We feel this should have been resolved more quickly.

Our room was very comfortable and quiet for a city centre. Room facilities were excellent but see above..

Getting locked out of our room 20 mins before leaving and having to go down to reception to allow us access to get our luggage. Room keeping would not give us entry despite being next door. There was a problem with the TV not working during our stay.

Room excellent, staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Building works continue but did not affect our stay, or the standard of service received. Refurbishments done so far are lovely.

Water pressure in the tap was very low Television reception was awful as picture kept sticking and it was hard to watch Housekeeping didn’t replenish towels,coffee,sugar etc. had to keep asking

We requested a double room not twin - when we arrived, quite late and tired they hadn’t got the bed made up as requested so we had to wait for it to be done despite being aware of it before we arrived 🤷‍♀️ Due to renovation works the lobby was cold and draughty and we were seated at a table in the dining room right in the doorway so had to be asked to be moved as we were cold!

Hotel was comfortable as expected and good location.
