one of the rooms wasnt ready for the check in time

the location was good and i liked the bar area to sit and have some drinks. the gym had a lot of equipment too which was good and better than alot of hotel gyms

Charging meals in the restaurant to the room bill , seems unreliable , the bill included a meal that I knew I had'nt had as I keep records.. Perhaps the time of keeping paper records of meals and bar bills is done , why not have an app on guests phone that records bills incurred and is coordinated electronically with hotel financial records, using QR codes perhaps ..- so that at the end of the meal staff and guests both see the amount and that then appears on the final bill..

The pool is tiny and the sauna wasn’t working. No swimsuit drying machine. More than anything, the only thing that irked me was the mandatory 10% service charge on every drink or meal you order. When signing, you also confirm if you wish to tip. What is the point in the question when you’re taking 10% each time? Very rude!

The food and service was excellent. Beds incredibly comfortable and well located for being based in St Helier.

The reservation was for me, my husband and 16 years old daughter. We had to share a bed, for £100 a night that was unacceptably and uncomfortable. I won’t be staying there again.

Breakfast buffet very relaxed and organised. Staff brought extra from a la carte if you wished. Other meal selection more than adequate had dinner x2 whilst there. Beautiful view from waterfront location

We paid 5 night/6 day hotel booking. As customers, we are expecting to use hotel facilities inside of hotel, including swimming pool and steam room etc. However, we have been disallowed to use the swimming pool and steam room as the facilities had been booked and blocked by non-hotel customers for the commercial sections three times a week. And this commercial deal is exclusive, hotel customers are not given opportunities to book. We wont mind if this information is provided on hotel website so it could form part of my decision on selecting this hotel to stay for my family. But it is not on website. I also won’t mind if this information is given to us on paper when we checked in or post it on swimming pool front door. But no information has been formally given. When I went to reception to ask on the 2nd of April 10am, the lady in reception told me I should have received these local rule when we in check-in time. She suggested us - to get on with it!

TV would not allow usage on Apple hardware, made worse by disabled USB inputs - for the price would have expected the TVs to work with screen mirroring as intended
