Was trendy, rooms are large with beautiful furnishings. The bathroom is lovely also, very spacious too. Great living next to train station at Lime St, I never heard any trains at all.

My room was on the side over-looking the train station, so there was a little bit of noise - didn't bother me, but if you're sensitive to noise maybe request a room on the other side!

Convenient location, beautiful building, clean, comfortable and well-appointed room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The sink in my room was blocked and someone was sent quickly to sort it (although it did instantly block again just from normal hand-washing, so I think there was a more serious sink problem afoot)

Centre of Liverpool for easy access to restaurants/bars, parking/train. Friendly and helpful staff at check in/out. Bed was so comfortable (I usually struggle to find comfortable beds when we stay away) so I was very impressed and for an added bonus the sound proof rooms meant it was such a lovely silent nights sleep! Slightly more expensive than some hotels but worth the extra!

There is a slight noise from the train station close by. It wasn't sufficient to put me off but could possibly do for anyone who is a light sleeper.

Travelled for business and fantastic central location right in the heart of the city. Lots of amenities nearby including safe parking.

Don't like how it's cashless, and the bar was really expensive for a pint of lager.. also the breakfast wasn't up to much. Bacon under cooked and sausages wearnt great either. Again, really expensive

Our fifth floor room has a natural sloping ceiling (that is the roof). This gives a sense of being slightly squashed. The air conditioning was a bit fierce and even after putting the temperature control up to 23.5 C it took a while to reach the ideal sense of cool that we wanted.

My room had a velux window so no view and being on the top floor in the eves meant the room was quite chilly.

Perfect location for visiting Empire Theatre and arriving/leaving by train as it is located between the two. All staff we met were also very friendly and willing to help. Sympathetically renovated so that it's retained the old charm of the building but has the feel and facilities of a brand new hotel. It was also very good value on a Friday evening. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We cant fault it it met all our requirements

The location was great right next to the train station very central to restaurants bars and local attractions the hotel was fabulous greeted by friendly staff we had booked a superior room with a veiw near to the ground floor the room was quite small but it was clean and the bed was very comfy with a lovely bathroom with a large walk in shower tea coffee facilities were provided and there was a fridge as well we also had air conditioning which was a bonus with the warm weather.

Breakfast could be better, there was no coffee in both the coffee machine and the coffee pot, and no one tried to refill it for a half an hour we were sitting there
