There was a music festival that we were not informed of. The music could be heard throughout most of the hotel.

The food is great and the facilities good too. The staff were really helpful when I complained about the noise and exceeded my expectations when dealing with my issue.

Beautiful set up with the hotel rooms situated around the courtyard. The location is great for visiting Cambridge. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, neat and tidy. Staff were friendly.

It seems really petty, considering we had a family room we were left 3 miniature shampoo, body lotion and bath gel and one toilet roll between 4 for 2 nights? My daughter had to go to reception to ask for a toilet roll and that’s what she received.. 1 toilet roll🤷‍♀️

The setting of this hotel was beautiful. Lovely garden room, spacious family room. Close to Cambridge and Linton Zoo.

Continental breakfast was good but cooked breakfast options can be improved (would be great to have more hash browns...)

Friendly and welcoming staff and was fun to use the spa facilities especially the sauna and the jacuzzi. It was included in the stay at the hotel.

Room size was too small. space for bed and not much more.

Room was smaller than expected for the description given and compared to a previous visit. We did not use any other facilities.

Staff were not particularly friendly, not bad service but not very smiley or any attempt to make conversation - felt very corporate and scripted interactions. Breakfast was a disaster- the food that was available was amazing however it was a busy weekend breakfast service and only 2 very young waitresses, couldn’t keep up with the volume of guests, ran out of milk completely, one basic 4 slice toaster like you would have in the kitchen at home which meant a queue and long wait for toast, pastries were brought out from the kitchen to replenish 5 or 6 at a time which meant there was not enough for everyone waiting for them. No crockery available had to wait for bowls, cups etc. I could have understood if we had arrived at the end of breakfast service but we arrived 30-45mins into service

Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and the breakfast wasn’t worth the money especially when it’s served luke warm

River walk was a little overgrown and extractor fan in bathroom wasn’t very effective. The addition charge for our two dogs was more than we expected. We totally understand the need to charge extra but we felt the extra cost was far too high when staying for several days.

Breakfast was plentiful and cooked well and staff were friendly and welcoming of our two dogs. We had a busy schedule in Cambridge but it was a real treat to be able to get up in the morning and pop to the gym before breakfast. There was a large field next to the car park where we could safely walk the dogs. The bed was particularly comfortable and we appreciated the overhead fan in the room.

The service for food was a little slow and I thought the drinks were a bit expensive. The hairdryer in the room, was terrible (take your own) and the room was quite hot, we couldn't get the air con to work.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. All the food we ate was excellent. The spa was very nice and spa staff very helpful. Room was large and very clean.
