A fantastic location in the centre of Holmfirth and the property was excellent. Literally, everything you could think of was available. Cathy and George were very welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend 👌🏼.

Friendly and welcoming owners. location was good , the lodge was spotless, the owners had thought of everthing you would need . Lovely little extra touches , toiletries, robes , and the cake and flapjack. The bed was so comfortable. Would love to stay again .

We liked everything about it, the facilities were fantastic and the hosts definitely went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable with little extras, the bed was so comfy I wanted to take it home with me.

Owners sent a code for the key lock safe on the outside of the property, but were also there to greet us and explain about the property

Beautiful setting . Cathy is an amazing host she thought of everything right down to ear buds.. Cathy greeted us on arrival and explained everything. She also had gluten free biscuits, lactose free milk, fresh orange juice and bottled water. Very clean lodge. Beautiful inside couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend The Lodge and would definitely stay here again.

Not the best place if you have mobility issues as It is on a very steep hill and it was raining so it was very slippery underfoot and the driveway / entrance can easily be missed ,, nothing bad to report at all and nothing that is of fault to the owners or property .

The facilities were amazing , everything you could think of was there in case you had left anything , personal little touches like fresh home made muffins and flap jack , coffee pods , fresh juice and milk . The location for the town is great.

Everything, literally there was nothing that was anything short of perfect, including the world's finest flapjack. Everything has been thought about to the utmost detail. Overall, thank you, thank you very much and sorry for hammering the coffee and wide variety of fruit tea. Wonderful.

Excellent facilities and location. The attention to detail was second to none and the cakes were delicious. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was everything you could possibly need for our stay including a great selection of teas and delicious orange juice. Cathy was very welcoming. Had a brilliant stay lovely little cottage type accommodation, super clean and comfortable lots of little thoughtful touches like muffin's etc and our hosts Cathy and George were a dream so friendly and approachable would definitely book again in the future was central for holmfirth couldn't find a better place to stay.
