The bed mattress and the pillows need replacing. Not the most comfortable and past there best.

We prepared our own breakfast from cereals, bread and croissants provided The accommodation although on a fairly busy road was situated at the bottom of the garden and therefore suitably quiet. It would have been nice to have fruit juice or some fruit provided but it wasn’t a big issue.

Nothing really, but if I really need to add something: the electric shower. I simply don't like them because they have absolutely no flow. I totally appreciate the environmentally friendly aspect of electric showers but I'd rather have a 2-minute power shower than a 10-minute electric struggle to get the shampoo out of my hair.

I only stayed for one night travelling from the Northern Highlands to Plymouth to break the trip into two stages. Nonetheless, there were filtered water, milk, breakfast cereals, tea, etc. waiting for me. It was also extremely easy to order food for delivery at the annexe room because several menus were available at the room with clear delivery instructions provided on the board in the kitchen by the hosts. The hosts were very friendly, it's a very quiet location, the bed is extremely comfortable and the TV is wonderful, albeit that I unplugged it at night because the lights made it hard to fall asleep. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

There was absolutely nothing I could fault about this property. If I was being really picky, maybe just a bigger shelf somewhere in the shower room to put your toiletaries on. I nearly lost my lipstick whilst reaching for the loo roll, but thats so minor.

This was the perfect place for me to stay for my weekend conference. 10 minutes through the lanes to the venue, really quiet so a good nights sleep before and after long days. The bedroom was really spacious and confortable with a a really nice sofa and large TV. Comfy bed, heating worked well - it was the first chilly night of the season. The kitchen area was really useful and the range of goodies provided for breakfast was really good. There was a fridge/freezer so for longer stays food would be easy to manage and the ensuite shower room was really nicely kitted out. If you had two couples there was another bedroom that could share the same kitchen and shower room facilities. I met Kevin, the owner during my stay and had a lovely chat - so friendly hosts too.

The hosts were ever so friendly. They showed us around, explained how different elements worked, there was a convenient board with take away and taxi numbers. The continental breakfast options were lovely with jams and butter in the fridge. Lovely facilities and the shampoo smelt delightful!! Bed was super comfy. There was an iron and board available.

The annexe was absolutely beautiful, so clean and well presented! The breakfast was amazing, banana bread was unbelievable! So glad we could take the dogs with us, the enclosed garden was perfect for a little run around!

Bathroom was quite small but sufficient. Loo roll hard to get unless contortionist 😀. That’s it. Everything else fabulous.

Quiet, away from traffic. Separate to main house, therefore very private. Everything needed was provided. Easy access. Wi-Fi. Spacious.

We did struggle with a 4 foot 6 bed but we knew that it would be that size before we arrived and for one night it was worth being a bit snug as the whole stay represented great value.

Well presented property with everything you need to hand. Owners were welcoming and had been thoughtful in the set up of amenities.
