Nothing - it was great. I had a lovely birthday weekend staying here!

My boyfriend and I stayed for my birthday weekend. Simon & Nell were so lovely and very welcoming. There's a great space downstairs to play pool and have a drink. The room was cosy and comfortable with aircon, ensuit etc - even had a mini fridge. The breakfast was amazing, and Nell & staff were very accommodating - happy to make extra, and checked in to make sure you had everything you needed/wanted. It was great chatting with Simon - overall lovely, welcoming, positive atmosphere. We don't usually stay at the same place twice but we're planning a return trip later this year☺️

The stairs are quite steep and the steps are very narrow. There is parking, but is a first come, first served. We had to find a place to eat within walking distance so as not to lose our spot.

The Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Great breakfast. The room was quite generous and very clean.

The room was clean & tidy it had an en-suite with shower toilet and sink which was lovely and clean and a big bonus was the air conditioning in the bedroom we didn’t need to use but it’s not usual to see this in smaller hotels. On arrival I parked on the front the owner came out & we explained that I was disabled and unable to park in their car park at the back as I can’t walk far he was extremely kind and made sure all our wheels where on his property so we didn’t get fined & said I could stay there for our stay due to this. We had a ground floor room which was a good size and well furnished the bed was very comfortable & the room even had a small minibar sized fridge in it. There was also a bar in the hotel but we didn’t use this however on walking through it to get to breakfast in the dining room I noticed it did have a pool table and other games in it and the bar looked well stocked. The breakfast was excellent the best we’ve had in a hotel there was plenty of choice & it was served quickly & piping hot. The staff were very polite and the service they gave was excellent making sure you had enough to eat & asking if we wanted anything else. I would highly recommend this hotel

Simon and Neyla are perfect hosts, welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless and the location was perfect, a short walk and you are in the centre of town.

Our view from the balcony was lovely very clean lots of tea coffee and milk perfect Cracking breakfast and you can change out the bits you don’t like staff are lovely

We are so happy to have found The Quies Run by a wonderful couple, it really felt like a home from home. Lovely, clean comfortable room, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Exceptional breakfast each morning! We will be back!

Our room was on the top floor. If you have mobility issues then it may be an issue. However we were asked if we had any issues before checking in.

We had an exceptional stay at the quies. The room was beyond expectations and the view from the balcony was amazing. The host was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was fantastic. Couldn't of asked for more. It was an amazing trip and we will be returning in the future.

A bottle of water in the room at no extra charge also no sigh telling people that breakfast is on the house so don't ask for packed lunch. If this happens a note u see the door of persons responsible, not for all to see as I thought I paid extra for breakfast

We had really good time at the Quies. Nelly and Simon are very friendly and welcome. The rooms are very clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was with many choices and you can eat as much as you want. We would highly recommend this hotel and definitely we will back there.
