Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomHowever booked a triple room with a double bed and a single bed yet ended up only having a double bed and a rock hard armchair to sleep on which was very disappointing. Not possible to get a good nights sleep on such a hard armchair and is not an adequate replacement for a bed.
Staff were very nice and hotel room was clean and tidy. Location was great.

United KingdomThe rooms condition was fairly poor, all doors were broken in someway and walls were dirty looking. Couldn't tell if it was dirty or if the walls paint just needed to be recoated.
The hotel location was convenient to the location I was working. Breakfast was good and staff were mostly friendly and helpful. There a great pub around the corner which serves a great burger and Hyde park was lovely to walk around.

AustraliaThe rooms and hallways had marks and scratches along the walls and some old carpet. It really didn’t bother me or my friends, however, if it something of concern to you then be advised. The rooms did not contain a fridge which again wasn’t a big concern for us, but may be if you don’t want to eat out for every meal. The rooms were on the smaller side but not minuscule like some people like to perpetuate.
The property is in an amazing location, close to two tube stations and a wide variety of shops, bakeries, cafes, and more located on the same street. The rooms were comfortable, cleaned daily, and contained most of what was needed. We didn’t have much contact with the staff, which I guess is good, however they were nice enough and directed us well.

United KingdomThe room was very basic and had a tiny on-suite. It felt like staff quarters rather than a guest room! No bedside lamp. 1x tap didn't work (not plumbed in). Internally the place is a labyrinth (even the staff get lost)! I was told my room was on the 4th floor when it was on the 3rd. Breakfast was OK, not great but good enough, the kitchen wouldn't do poached or fried eggs, scrambled was available.
Great location- convenient for the Central line and walks in Kensington Gardens & Hyde Park.
