We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe music played in the bar and dining room all day. At breakfast being greeted with loud heavy metal blasting from speakers was dreadful. It was worse in the evening. We could not dine in the hotel because of the noise which was a shame because we would have done.
Breakfast was good. Decor was as pleasant.

The room was above an inn and was very spacious. The bed was large (double bed) and comfy. Everything was clean and I was happy with the stay, location and cost for everything all together. My only warning would be that it is all stairs so if you are differently abled please be aware that there are several stairs to navigate. The staff was friendly and got me checked in easily. They also stored my luggage when I arrived early so I could walk around whilst my room was being prepared. I didn't have time to eat the breakfast that they offered but I did separately order some food and it was absolutely delicious. I believe I had the baked brie.

United KingdomNo parking for guests unfortunately. We were directed to the public car park down the road. In my case it meant being out of bed a bit lively to avoid a PCN. Still, it's good to have somewhere to leave the car in Ambleside overnight as there isn't anywhere else. Just factor in the extra cost for your stay. Still a nice place in a scenic town
Warm and welcoming. Really nicely presented. It has a very good rustic feel with plenty of wood balanced with carpet as well. Bar and dining area looks terrific. Good beer on tap including local brews as well as blue moon which you don't often see. The room was lovely with everything we needed including hair dryer. Shower was nice and hot and the beds were clean and very comfortable. Staff were helpful. A superb breakfast. We enjoyed our stay in a well run inn with a pleasant vibe. Staff were very helpful and we appreciated their cooperative approach.

A quick stopover in Ambleside so we didn't have many choices but this was the right property for us. Located in the central part of the town, well designed, well kept and great breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Room worked out since so my daughter could take the bunk bed in our room. Really liked the property.

United KingdomAt dinner the previous evening we just asked for no cheese on the dish but were told the food was 'pre made' and no changes could be made. This was a bit disappointing.
Overall the stay fulfilled the necessities for the purpose of our visit in terms of location. We missed breakfast as we were up and out too early however the staff did provide us with cereal and milk to have in our room. The evening meal was tasty but little flexibility if you wanted a slight change to your dish. Location was very good but it did mean our room was quite noisy. We were more sensitive to this however having to be up early the next day. No parking at the hotel.

Really pleased with the room. Door was a bit stiff and the bathroom door hinge was loose so you had to lift it to close it properly. Breakfast was really great. I had the full english and my wife had the poached eggs. Thanks especially to Maria for her warm welcome and attentive service while we stayed.
