We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe food .pizzas and tikka curry very very very poor, did complain but nothing dealt with. Pizza was like a cheap shop brought (cardboard). And the chicken in the curry was inedible . Stay safe and have burger or fish chips.

United KingdomThe carpets upstairs were covered in debris - wouldn't expect that at any hotel. The breakfast was a bit of a disaster zone - beans, bacon, sausage, eggs and hash browns kept running out and having to wait for more to be cooked meant the rest if your breakfast was cold or like us we went without certain things. It was busy as they had a Murder Mystery night so they knew there were a lot of people for breakfast. Pity as the choice was good.
The hotel is in a lovely setting.

United KingdomIt was a small issue but I had to ask for extra cartons of milk as the ones left were insufficient for cups of tea/coffee for 2 people for one drink in the evening & one pre-breakfast in the morning.
The bedroom was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. All in all I thought it was very good value for the money paid. The grounds also contributed to the attractiveness of the hotel and gave a relaxing ambience.

United KingdomMy room was nice enough, but needs a little TLC (similar around the hotel)and perhaps a modern TV. King bed is two beds put together - which isn’t great when you’re trying to starfish on your little escape. I really don’t like the grey decor, I never understood this fashion - the UK is grey enough outside.
It’s a lovely classic hotel with some beautiful features. The staff were absolutely lovely - all friendly, and extremely helpful. I enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub.

United KingdomDrinks were expensive, bar was unmanned when I arrived, and I pressed a bell for attention, bar lady was rude and slammed pint down? Food, although lovely, was expensive. When I booked, booking stated Lunch & dinner was £15. No one knew of this offer even though I showed them the email stating this. Reception staff were going to honour this however was then told not to.
